Seriously? Where can i buy the best valued MoM copy? w/ a 30 day VIP code
The title says it all, the official (moria.lotro.com) site no longer works... gamestop has stopped selling it. I found a standard copy on amazon.com but i'm not sure if it's the mithril version? Wait a minute, what's the difference between the mithril edition and standard xD?
Are the boxed vip vouchers still working?
Re: Seriously? Where can i buy the best valued MoM copy? w/ a 30 day VIP code
Mithril: http://mithril.lotro.com/
Mithril is not another version of Moria. However, it includes the Moria QUEST PACK (thus not the Moria character slots, classes, or VIP time).
Do not buy any Moria box that has the Codemasters logo. It will not be honored; it is worthless.
The boxed Moria included a working VIP code when I bought it last October from Amazon.com.
A spaceship from another star / They ask me where all the people are
I tell them I'm the only one / There was a war, but I must have won
That's the Full Monty: Moria Expansion, 2 Character Slots, Warden and Rune Keeper, 30 days VIP.
Note that there are 4 codes in the box, 3 temporary codes for a 14-day trial that are now worthless
and the Big Kahuna. So don't panic when picking through the materials.

So basically it would be completely illogical to buy the mithril.lotro.com version? And i should go for a boxed version? Or..... People are telling me different things xD

The Mithril Edition and the Mines of Moria Expansion include different things. Only one item overlaps between the two. And only you can decide what fits best for you.

The only thing they have in common is that they both include the Moria quest pack, so if you bought both, you'd be purchasing that part twice. But everything else you get is different between the two purchases, and which is better is a matter of which you want:
Besides the Moria quest pack, the Mithril Edition of LotRO also includes the Trollshaws, Eregion, and Lothlorien quest packs, 2000 TP, and the Steed of the Horse Lords, none of which come with the Mines of Moria expansion.
Besides the Moria quest pack, the Mines of Moria expansion comes with the Warden and Runekeeper classes, two additional character slots, an increase in your skirmish soldier's maximum traits, and (if you buy the box copy) a month of VIP time, none of which come with the Mithril Edition. (Or if you buy the expansion with TP from the LOTRO Store, it comes with all of that except the VIP time.)

Thanks so much, this was what i needed. I've decided to buy the Mithril edition as opposed to the boxed Moria. Thanks a lot!
Same seller and others had it for $20 a little over a week ago too, so if you're not in a hurry you might also watch and wait- I've noticed Amazon prices for certain things fluctuate up and down over the course of a month.
