Thread: Quest too difficult for player level

Hello, I am a lvl 31 champion and I am in a situation in which I cannot do any quests because they are too hard. In the lone lands I'm stuck in several quests in which I have to kill some glooms which have 3,000+ hp and come in groups and some humans which have the same hp. In the south Trollshaws I have to kill some trolls which have 4,000+ hp.

Is it normal that they have so much HP? Is this so I have to do it with a fellowship? I need some answers please, I'm really frustrated.

Are those possibly group quests? Either small fellowship (3 man, has an icon with 3 silhouettes) or full fellowship (6 man, can't remember what the icon looks like similar to small fellow but more). If so they are designed for multiple players, one of which is a healer or a tank sometimes both are required.

Look at the size indicator for the quest. Every quest comes with a people indicator. One person - solo quest. Maybe two or three people for small fellowship - 3 required. A small army for full fellowship - 6 required. I remember these quest. They are all 3 or 6 required at level. You need to find 2-5 buddies. Or find some more solo quests.

The quests you are refering too are rather difficult. They require avoiding the 3k enemies entirely, as you probably can not take them on your own effectively. There are two signature glooms by a tree in Agamar, just inside the area you start encountering the elites. Kill those repeatedly for the gloomwater quest, and for the other one, you just have to search for normal enemies straying off on their own. The trolls you will need assistance for.

Though the initial question has been solved, I'll add that Evendim would be a great place for you to level starting at 31.

Yeah, some of those quests at the end of Lone Lands are really difficult so I often skip them and just go to Evendim, which is really a fantastic zone. You should get to level 40 or more in there no problem.

The fellowship size icons are sometimes, but not always, helpful. For me, those quests in Augamar are really difficult because the glooms do lots of damage and because those Hill-men or whatever often have unexpected adds. Really tough quests. The trolls, on the other hand, are a lot easier to solo so long as you make sure to only pull one at a time.
