Thread: Game doesnt even work.

I log in enter info, and after 5 hours of doing that, i can't select a race. Fix it.

It is a very common problem, and has a simple fix.

Log into the character select screen (you don't have any yet). Click the options tab (lower right). On the Graphics panel, set Graphics Hardware Level to DirectX9. Save (apply) the change, exit the game, start it again, and the race select screen should be accessible.

Once you've successfully created one character, you can shift back to DX10 or DX11, depending on your OS and GPU.

Game? You mean LOTRO™? If so maybe you need a better computer >:P
You shouldn't play games on a slow computer.
