1. I realize that there are far fewer groups out than there were. But please, if any greenies are reading this (doubtful), a group without a target assist and/or a greenie leader who won't use a mic is NOT a group. It is a glorified chat room where creeps share inf on disparate kills. If you are a greenie leader wanting to PvP another comparably sized freep group and has no exp leading, but is willing to set someone on target assist and use your mic (till, perhaps one day, it's not necessary) go ahead and throw me an invite (not throwing Js for aforementioned reasons). If it has the chance of getting greenies to focus less on the slugs, sure. I hate leading, but I'll offer what advice I can and stick with it if there's not a group of friends on I'd rather run with.
2. The map was beautiful today. Maybe it will piss some off but the freeps SHOULD take Lugs. We SHOULD take TR. Sick of all this talk of (dare I say?) etiquette I've heard from time to time. Really?! No charity for either side. So what if the creeps have to walk. Get maps. So what if it brings out a freep zerg. Kills can still be attempted and had. Which brings me to 3.
3. Crick can't afford to refer to "taking keeps" as PvE. I don't usually have the CG quests. I don't usually care to take keeps. But if you haven't tried, don't complain that there's no action. So you got wiped on the 1st floor. At least you got them to come out of their shells. And taking a keep (especially when there are freeps) is an art in and of itself. And if they don't defend, shame on them. If we don't, shame on us.

I really do not understand this train of thought, though I hear it all the time. So, I have to say it. From my perspective, there is no PvE when out on The Moors. None. There now I feel better. Why do I think this, you may ask? or not?
Because, everywhere I can go in The Moors I have to be CONSTANTLY on the alert for creeps. As soon as I leave GV the PvMP begins and doesn't end until I map out or log out. It doesn't matter if I'm farming mats at Grotham or turning in quests at LC, or targeting a creep coming out of TA, somewhere out there is a creep. After all isn't that what PvMP means: Players going after Monster Players, or how about MPvP. Doesn't that imply "be on your guard?"
True PvE is outside The Moors where I never have to worry about where the creeps are.
This whole weekend has been extremely fun btw, so thanx for that. Truly. Well except for the 1v1s, but that's ok, 'cause I went somewhere else and watched some grass grow and then some paint dry.
From my perspective, there is no PvE when out on The Moors. None.
If you are in the Moors for the sole purpose of questing your way to R8 because then you'll be "1337 enough to destroy freeps"... you are PvEing. The only difference between an R8 with no PvP exp and an R1 with none either is arithmetic. Fighting with "one hand tied behind your back" till R"Whatever" was and (though much less popular) is the only way to get any real exp in the Moors. Sadly, a few greenies that treat the CG room like a place to EC zerg for freeps, seemingly not understanding that aggro is shared in group mode, ruin it for the others who want to learn.

Alright. I've been the humble, nice reaver. I've been the complainer. Not workin'. Time for somthin' else. Could always use an excuse for some RL time.
And yes, the Moors was very fun this weekend. Hope it wasn't just a fluke and will continue on for a while.
Why don't you go tell that clownshoes of a kin leader of yours to sit you on his knee and tell you 'bout "the glorious days of PvMP, when grampa use to fight. In actual groups!" And let him know I'm sorry for doubting him and that he can come clean dishes for my mom again. We found the 5g.

And Braydan, next time you're in the slug pit, save the tracking and wear a gimp outfit. Sad I got to be the one to say it. But you always were more of a friend to creeps than freeps, anyways.

I wish greenies knew game mechanics and http://dailystats.theblackappendage....monster-manual
Things could be a bit better. Now if only there was a way to let them know this, I know how hard it is with them, as there always are greenies >.<
pve is there u cant do anything about it but there is wht u can do
when u see some1 pveing kill him ^^
when there is a fight and ppl asking in ooc any1 for an OP ? ignor him and kill him l8er if u catch him around or snitch him out so ther other side kill him ^^
now about keep for me takin isn is pve coz no strategy come's from that
taking a keep for strategy reason is k but rly like we have that type of thinking in crick
so anyother keep other than tr/lugz for rez when there is a fight is pve
i dont mind pve and idc who do it. but it annoys me when ppl do it while there is a fight in the end a r15 pver is nowhere near a r7 raider
maybe in 1v1s but in real action u can tell the deference in skills
ps : plz stop the random greenies ninja invites im not gonna join a group who lead by a greeny leader who just want to feed the other side and play solo mode with the ./felochat option i rather goldtag around than smack my head to the wall
./salute medo
Medo > r11 < Guardian__^^__Medoo > r9 < Stalker
( all i can do is be me, whatever that is . )

Seriously? I hope you don't think you were being asked to impart your wisdom. Do you really think I'm in this to make friends and influence people? Your insult is very "creepish" so kudos to you for that. I mean I would never expect a kind word to come out of a creep anyways.
And since the subject has come up in this thread I'll ask the question: Who made the rule that The Moors is about grouping and raiding? If you raid addicts did, well I have a news flash: the game designers have many 3, 6 and 12 mans to keep you busy so go do some of those with the rest of your elite friends. Also, I haven't tried it myself but heard, there are other in-game worlds that are heavy on The Moors raiding/grouping thing so transfer out of Crick if that's what you're looking for.
The Moors is ALL about Player vs Monster Player. They are not about Freep group vs Monster group.
And whether I become fast friends or dire enemies with anyone here I, for one, am here to stay. So get used to it! You all really need to stop spending so much of your time and energy worrying about how others play the game. I mean, if I were to spend my time on such an endeavor then I could say stuff like:
Why do creeps camp rez circles and GV then get upset and take issue when freeps do the same to them?
If you don't like zerging then don't participate in it.
I cannot stand 1v1s (a very unmoorish thing to do apparently from what this thread and others have implied), and get tired of coming across them in places one never should expect to, like the hill between OC and Lugz rez!
Where do you get off telling a hunter not to track? Oh what, the wargs and BAs can do it to their hearts' content, but I'm supposed to just lie in wait for a melee attack that I am sure to lose far more often than if I do a ranged one? Please! Oh, and don't tell me that I "chaintrack," but you all don't. I mean, what the hell number do you come up with that jumps the line between the two anyways?
Why do you all use raids as an excuse to goldtag, like it's somehow more respectable that way? I've seen my share of folks who are in raids and who die early, but hang around collecting as much posthumous renown/infamy as they can before they have to retreat! If (and that's a big if) I'm in a raid and I die, its retreat and back in the fight renown be damned. What? Is that the wrong attitude to have?
What good is it to be in a raid anyways? What possible benefit can come from it? I mean the first time I ever "participated in taking an OP" I wasn't even in a group. I was new and exploring The Moors when I passed by what I later learned was the river OP and got the message in front of me on my screen. So there without even knowing what it was or trying I got credit? Hmmm, seems to me there is no need for raids here.
So, until the devs make The Moors in yours or anyone else's image, hunker down and deal with the day-to-day or leave. In the end it comes down to one of those two choices. I know what mine is, what's yours?
Your insult is very "creepish" so kudos to you for that.
Don't take it personal. I'm sick of hearing people talking 'bout the Moors like they're a 12 year old girl discovering their period for the first time. I'm ready to take a slow walk into the permaban one-shots. Maybe you can help.

Statement makes no sense at all.

I got some rope and post outside of Grams with your name on it. The greenies could use a morale boost before thier slug hunting. Those mongoloids can mope out of Grams like in the basement from "People Under the Stairs" and queue up behind you takin' turns. You can explain to them "this is not how babies are made" while they drool down ur neck and turn the backside into something that half resembles a goat se pic and a rusted out slinky. Don't worry. I'm sure there is a good therapist in GV that takes comms on a sliding scale.

i love the slugs. soooo many greenies. still trying to figure out how a reaver can see a burg with 5+ stealth (maldad) but still i keep coming. had some interesting chance encounters out there in the AM. But i have to agree with whomever said it, killing npcs is what i use for bait. If i'm killing npcs, its for one of two reasons.
1. i just finished killing a creep/freep that tried to get away by using the npcs
2. i'm so bored i'm hoping a creep/freep jumps my behind so i can get some real action
./cheers to those i've killed in the last few mornings
./morecheers to those i'm gonna kill
may you have lucky crits when fighting me......except you burzan. you don't need any help >.<
The Moors is ALL about Player vs Monster Player. They are not about Freep group vs Monster group.
Really? if i had to choose to solo on a OP class (let the record show i have 2 OP classes atm) or join a small group/raid (depending on action) i'd much rather choose the group/raid. Why are my reasons?
1) More comms
2) More glory/inf
3) It's not as boring as sitting there thinking to yourself "hmmm where would they be?" when you have a raid ALL over the map looking
4) Most of the time its more fun, because someone is goofing off or doing something funny
5) You dont die as much....unless your a healer
..anyways, just my .02$ Just be glad you rolled a easy solo class, bray. Try soloing as a Cappy or LM. Not trying to be rude
