Carli has seen the light. You would be welcomed just as I have been creepside. I used to gank and spank creeps at the rez and people say some very nice things to me creepside. If you decide to come creepside hit me up I will help you anytime with anything.
For someone who has "seen the light" Carli certainly seems to still enjoy following Adino's raid around and playing by the same tactics for easy infamy. Twice yesterday when i found solo freeps that would have proven to be fun 1 on 1 fights Carli and his zerg ball came to rofl heal them back to full health and melt my face. But in the spirit of the thread... /hug 'Carli scored a critical hit with Epic Conclusion on Kazak for 2,999 damage to morale' c'mon Carli I know you can do better than that!

I was running with 2 hunters, hardly a zerg. We were just hunting. Happen to save a few nubs along the path from scary wargies And many times the only way to find fights is to tag along Adino's group. If the server population was bigger I'd say otherwise, but gotta go where the fights are. Refer to #2 of my last post.

Everyone wants to be on the winning side, it is unfortunate that Turbine in all its wisdom decided players should be able to instantly flip between sides any time they wanted - Maybe the NFL should let Tom Brady put on a Jets uniform at halftime when the Jets need help or better yet let the weaker Jet players put on Patriot uniforms after they realize they are going to get stomped so they can "win". Or hey how great would have been all those years if Michael Jordan would have been slamming the ball into both teams' baskets based on his current mood and whim? Boy that would have been some great competition to watch right? If you don't like sports analogies, then consider chess, math and debate competitions between rival high schools. What would it be like if Dildorf High's debaters all switched to rival Dufus High's team in the middle of a tourney because Dufus High's team was eating their lunch in front of the judges (or vice versa)? Or hey if you think USA's taxes are too high, just instantly revoke your citizenship and become a citizen of a different country to pay less taxes, you can always just come back whenever you want right? It's hard to understand why all those orcs and trolls didn't straighten up and join the free peoples when Aragorn or Gandalf showed up on the battlefield against them. But hey if that had happened, THEN the books and movies would have been really really good right?
Many years ago as a kid back in medieval times I used to enjoy watching "professional" wrestling on tv - I'm sure none of you would be surprised to hear that I always cheered for the good guys especially if they wore a blue outfit and battle royales were my favorite. Then someone told me it wasn't real - that the matches were fixed ahead of time, that all those evil bad guys weren't really hitting the good guys on the head with a chair and the blood was really chicken blood, it was all staged. All of a sudden, it wasn't fun to watch any more, I lost all interest ... so, I decided I wouldn't believe that person and that it was real after all - then it was fun to watch again.
The point is lotro is a game, but it's only extremely fun at times when the bulk of people pick a side win or lose and play for that side without helping the other side and also when the victories/losses feel like they mean something. All you Adino haters can admit it or not, but you get happy when I am defeated on the battlefield and especially if you get the kb. It doesn't matter if you hate me because of how I play or that I like raid fights most or that you think I called a zerg on you or that you couldn't kill me 1v1 even if I went link dead during the fight or because I am patient with newbs who have to be told over and over to follow targets / give stun immunity / trait heightened senses, etc.
And all you expert freeps who disdain this current crop of freep newbs should remember that someone helped you get where you are. You didn't just set foot in the moors and start facerolling creeps by yourself and you didn't hone your skills and abilities all by yourself. Now you want to be selfish and maximize your renown by trying to sit in a ball of what you call horrible players, some even in your own kin without helping them because they don't improve at a rate that you deem acceptable. To each his own, but a bad selfish attitude is just that, how skilled you are at 1v1s means nothing compared to your attitude and overall behavior. There has always been and there will always be an "I'm better than you" crowd, those people do not make for good pvp or good moors - they only think they do.

I want to hug the one person in the moors who always come back for more... the one who is always in the moors through a red map or blue map.... the one who loves this game so much I'm not sure I've ever seen him not pvping..... the one who we all know plays as bait in the moors but we always go in for the kill and usually get the kill unless we are real unlucky.... the one who deserves the hug the most from all the pain we put it through....

Well in truth I wasn't interested in Moors until recently, and when I decided to go to moors, Adino had been gone, for awhile at least. So I really don't know Carli's history nor anyone that raided with Adino in the past. I was just speaking of what I had seen/experienced. I stand corrected! .

I know you are talking to me. And yes Adino Im being selfish. Ive pvmped for 5 years. Apologies if I dont have the patience to wait for freeps to realize that when grouped up and working together as their class roles, they are much more powerful than creeps. Im tired of seeing small creeps groups every day slaughter freeps cuz they are unorganized and don't work together. Most of that is turbine's fault i guess. They make it so freeps can be selfish players and everyone just wants to dps. 90% of pve is soloable now. That mentality follows people to pvmp. Creeps on the other hand have a natural instinct to heal out of group and work together. Defilers can dps with blight and whatever but its easy to heal out of group. Same for WLs. Freeps have no incentive to help the others around them. And if you want to teach the new freeps how to pvmp, go for it. But not only do you need to teach them the basics of the moors, you need to teach them the mechanics of classes and how to really work together to make your raid impossibly strong. Thats what freeps lack.
The really sad thing to me is that when I look around on freepside, I see no true pvpers anymore, maybe a handful that arent on much or on at the same times. Most of the real pvp freepside players have left or gone to creepside. I've been trying to think of ways to form a consistent pvp group of real pvp players, but all i see is a wasteland of what used to be freepside. There are no healing/support vets left, most hunters are gone... There is just basically NOBODY I want to group with. Call me elitist if you want. But I'm stuck as an ungrouped RK that creeps can tab target to and melt in seconds and go back to killing whatever else is around. And most fights i find myself in are with ungrouped creeps that actually can work together and I stand no chance of surviving, but i at least try to take someone to the grave with me.
Edit: Me saying this stuff about freeps is not me making fun of them (for the most part), but rather stating facts that newer players just arent aware of. PVE is so ezmode in this game its sad. The game doesn't teach you how to play your class anymore. Then you take two steps into the ettenmoors, and its back to the harsh, old school fight for your life that this game started with. You're not in Kansas anymore. You gotta step it up, or get eaten up. And i just see freeps getting eaten.

But I did just set foot into the moors and start facerolling creeps by myself 3 months after the game went live. It helped that Turbine gave me a true god mode class... The SoA Burg.
Irregardless, good players always hone their skills and abilities themselves. If you just listen to somebody because they have been out there for a long time or has a good rating doesn't mean the advice they give fits your play style or can't be improved on by finding your own better way. Fending for yourself is how you really learn to play your class then become good, that's just a fact. Raiding the noobs up constantly stifles them. It can't teach them how to move, kite or maximize their class's skills, once they learn how to survive on their own, then they'll be a benefit to a raid and not a burden.
tl;dr: Stop making raids. I just want to EZ mode kill fatty noobs over and over again until they quit. trololol

False. You are an annoyance. A great annoyance. It's completely unsatisfying killing you, because you play an op class as cheaply as possible, but also because we know you'll be back to zerg/ninja keeps to avoid any significant opposition/turn the map blue, at all costs, no matter how it negatively impacts the ability of players on both sides to find good fights, etc.

To be fair, quotation marks are sometimes used to show irony. In Sandra's horribly catty passive aggressive public service sign. We can deduce that she is probably uncomfortable with her own weight and suspects her coworkers of bulimia. She espouses vomiting as a big job, then perhaps uses quotation marks to soften the blow and maybe appear hip or down with the cool girl bulimic crowd?

lol yup I lag horribly in a keep with 24+vs24+. I'm pretty sure alot are aware of this now lol. I prefer smaller fights but if raid fights are all that's happening then they'll have to do.

You all needs hugs IMO. I've spent the entire weekend catching up on yard work, reading, going out to dinner, putting a pool up, sun soaking, getting frozen yogurt, margaritas, pedicure, manicure, facial, and mud wrap with my mother. It was the best weekend in years.

While the nice thing about history is it can never change, and I was pretty sure that same North American mentality destroyed the last petty minded bourgeoisie that tried to lord over then impose their view of what's socially acceptable on others in 1945. That didn't make me angry, this is my general demeanor. My angry is a whole different level of dysfunction. Plus I'm working, when I'm working I'm bored, when I'm bored I cause problems.
I know The Great Gatsby is a book I should have read, I just never got around to it. I've always preferred the classics that have I don't know....rougher(?) characters and settings. Like stuff by Steinbeck, Hemingway, Bukowski or even Dostoevsky.
