Thread: How much Audacity?

Apologies if this has already been discussed.

How much Audacity are folks running with? I've noticed champs in particular limiting the amount of Audacity they have in favour of other set combos.

The balance between morale / dps is something we are already doing in the moors.

What, if any, have you found is a good balance between Audacity and dps?

Are you running full moors set, 2/2/2 moors set or mixing with a ToO set?

Right now I'm running only 1 audacity piece (boots) & 5pcs faron. I've been spending my commendations on other chars (my hunter is actually r8, but this forum won't let me edit my sig without changing it to be about 1/3 of the length), but when I get a few more pieces of the hunter sets I'll macro the fleetness set it. 2/2/2 seems like the best setup to me, none of the set bonuses are particularly worth having.

If you don't want to use a macro I'd probably value the faron set over +5 audacity... It's that good.

I am using full moors set (audacity 7) on my hunter and my best set of jewels for dps. I still do very good dps.

If I knew how to do macros I would probably swap to faron set just to get the fleetness -1 focus cost on penshot and back to moors set.

If I'm in 5r/2b I'll either go 4 faron/2 pred for the extra PM or 4precision/2pred for the audacity bonus. If I'm running fleetness, I go 5 faron/1pred always for the penshot bonus. I find the extra pen shots more than compensate for the loss of audacity.

Here's a spreadsheet of the various audacity sets as well as a few different combinations of the sets that I pieced together. In my opinion, I find mix 2 to be the best. I don't roll w/ any non-audacity armour pieces whilst in the Moors.

I go 2/2/2, using the max agil pieces. Shoulders/jacket of entrapment, gloves/helm of precision, legs/boots of predator. Not worth it to go down 4 pieces of one line imo, but I am working on full precision set now, just to try out that -25% CC duration lol
