Didnt find anything similar on forum so i'm asking here.
This hapened few weeks ago, tried to write ticket to turbine no answer, so here i have my problem. I cant do EPICS VOL.I This happened when i was 2 weeks offline, when i camed back my quest tracked showed that i have done Book IX, i kinda remmeber i already have done this, but ok, i check whos the next npc i have to talk and went to it, but it was inactive... Tried to get to other npc where i could get some quest but nothing. What is even more funny, deed shows that actually i have done book XII, so here my question what is going on ?
Quest tracker says i have done book IX, deed says XII...
Can anyone help me to get back my quests and get this npc active so i can end epic story line on vol.I, this is more question to turbine offcourse, but maybe there is someone who have had similar problem
Which quest exactly is showing in your quest log? Many of the epic quests can be picked up out of order, so sometimes it gets confusing. Try going to your quest log and marking the box "Show completed quests". It can take a long time to load if you've done many quests, but eventually it should come up, and that will show you which quests you've finished and you can find where you got stuck.
It might be a bug, or it might just be a case of finding the right NPC to get you back on track. The pages at http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Epic_Quests can probably help you in that case.
Quest tracker says i have done book IX, deed says XII...
The first thing I would do is open the Deed log look at it. There are two Volume 1 deeds.
The first one is Book 1-8
The second one is Book 9-15
Both deeds can be open at the same time. You could have done Book 6-10. Neither finished Book 5.
The following books are all one long chain 6-15. You can look at your deed log see where exactly you are. If you do not have the red seal for completion on Book 8. Use the Lore Book link provided above to figure out which quest you need to do next in Book 8. Your completed quest log for Book 8 will tell you what the quest you completed is.
It does not where you are in Volume 1. The method I have described will get you back on track. This situation happens to all of us. There are a lot of quest chains in Lotro. They have a habit of being lost or forgotten.
