I have tried to apply a mit + mastery scroll and it says I don't have an item that qualifies. Is our jav not considered a class item. I have 2 75 sa's and neither qualifies. Why are there li scrolls that would seem ideal for a warden that we can't use, or am I doing something wrong?
WARNING: leveling a warden may cause you to neglect your other characters.
You got to the heart of the problem; javelin is not considered a class item. So what comes to Wardens legendaries, we have two weapons. Many people found this to be disadvantage just for the above reason you mentioned, not being able to slot the +mitigation scrolls into our LI, so instead we have the carving for our class slot, which give healthy amounts mitigations to compensate. No mastery rating I'm afraid, but the power cost reductions are worth something *shrug*
Hunters are in the same boat. We have two weapons and no "class item," we can slot Hunter's books in our class slot. My Guardian, Rune-keeper, and Burglar are all good though.
its a little annoying, but as we can fairly easily cap our mitigations anyway, its not quite as much a disadvantage as it seems. and as noted above, we can get mits on our carvings, which have the advantage of being able to swap between physical or tactical mit as needed.

Now that we can get the +vitality scrolls from Great River this is really a non-issue, capping the mitigations is easy anyway, so just stock up on vitality
