    Question about Subbing

Ok guys, I'll make it quick and short

Want to join the full experience, and saw this nice offer to get insengard legendary for low price

    My questions are:

    - Will this make me VIP?

    - What else do I need to buy to unlock everything (i mean areas, quests, class, races... not items or cosmetics)

    Thanks!

no, other than actualy subscribing only the orriginal boxed version of shadows of angmar and mines of moria will make your account ViP for 30 days each

purchasing RoI will only upgrade your account to premium
    - What else do I need to buy to unlock everything (i mean areas, quests, class, races... not items or cosmetics)
youll still be missing the 2 classes warden and runekeeper, 2 character slots, skirmishes, raids and instances for moria, mirkwood
trait slots, bags(?), full gold cap removal, quick travel routes and maybe one or two others see this thread for more details
    Answers to Your Questions

you will be missing quest packs for lonelands, evendim, forochel, angmar, misty mountains, lothlorien, enedwaith and great river, you will rent these if you become ViP

    Re: Question about Subbing

    Thanks for your quick reply

    BUT:

"Access to the Path of the Fellowship Quest Packs including Trollshaws, Eregion, Lothlórien and Moria plus the Mirkwood Quest Pack as a special bonus"

So I only have access to the zones, unlike having the expansions?

Please note that I said Legendary edition, not basic

Even with this I need to pay for the 2 classes?

    Re: Question about Subbing

yes its quest pack only as the item discription says
Access to the Path of the Fellowship Quest Packs including Trollshaws, Eregion, Lothlórien and Moria plus the Mirkwood Quest Pack as a special bonus
quest packs do not include any of the content from the expansion packs, quest packs only contain quests in the named regions

edit: you have access to all zones even without the quest pack or expansion.. but you cant do anything there other than the epic quest line, kill things and harvest resources

to quest in moria, i need the moria expansion

    Re: Question about Subbing

opps should have said quest packs do not give you the extra content form the expansions ie with the moria quest pack you do not get the character slots or 2 classes

to quest in moria you need the quest pack

to get the moria quest pack you either need to purchase the moira quest pack seperatly or purchase the path of the fellowship quest pack or the mines of moria expansion

quest packs allow you to complete quests in the named region ie the trollshaws quest packs give you all quests in trollshaws

the path of the RoI legendary edtion gives you 5 quest packs, you can complete all quests in those regions

To get EVERYTHING, buy the 2 expansions (Moria/RoI [and buy the cheapest one]) then go VIP. That will give you every quest zone, all traits unlocked, gold cap, swift travel and all classes.

EDIT: If you do not want to *stay* VIP more than 1 month, then buy the Legendary RoI expansion, as that will let you KEEP access to quest packs once your sub drops.

    Re: Question about Subbing

    RoI Legendaray gives you:

Full access to all quests and instances in Dunland/Isengard

Full access to all quests and instances in Mirkwood, including the Mirkwood skirmishes (these are gated by doing the epic quests, and are free to everyone - just the epic and skirmishes, not the whole quest pack)

Full access to all quests and instances in Moria, same deal with the Moria skimishes

Full access to all quests and instances in Lothlorien

Full access to all quests and instances in Eregion

Trollshaws quest pack (Trollshaws has no instances)

Skirmish soldier trait upgrade to the current maximum of 35

3 horses and 3 cosmetics sets for all your characters and all characters you make in future

    1000 Turbine points

It's a good deal, in other words. You won't get VIP, and you'll need a couple of quest packs to get from 30 to Moria.

Everyone has full access to the Shire, Ered Luin, Bree, and the Lonelands.

The quest packs you will not get with Legendary Isengard:

    Evendim
    North Downs
    Forochel
    Misty Mountains
    Angmar
    Enedwaith
    Great River

You also don't get the warden or runekeeper classes or the two extra character slots (though those can be bought separately).

You'll definitely want Evendim to get from 30-40, and either Forochel or Angmar to get you over to Eregion. The rest can be picked up as you like or are able to, but you can still have a nice game experience with what you get and a couple of judicious purchases.

    Re: Question about Subbing

This chart might help. It doesn't include the Great River quest area, which is free to VIP but premium and f2p players have to buy.

Expansions always get you the quest pack plus something special. That something special varies by expansion -- it can be extra classes, instances and raids, mounts and cosmetics, whatever. Instances and raids can be a bit confusing as sometimes they are linked to the quest pack (Moria, Mirkwood and Enedwaith, I believe) and other times are separate (Isengard -- but since the legendary bundle gets you the RoI expansion content, it would not affect you).

Legendary is quite a good deal, and legendary plus VIP gives you almost everything except the extra classes.
