Thread: Star-lit crystals of any worth in the moors?

so im told the star light stuff is only good for 2nd ages and really gives little boost in dps.

is it worth grinding for or should my time be better spent grinding comms for audacity gear?




on a side note: what are the crystals selling for in the AH? im very interested to know.

Yes, get them all.

They're better on 2nd ages since they give a larger dps buff (up to about the level of a 1st age iirc), but it's free dps/healing/etc. why would you not get them? If you want to be even more OP as a freep, get them...

1st Agers with Tactical Mastery Rating on them benefit from a 5%+ DPS increase.

So no, they aren't worthless.

First age hammer went from 149.7~>152.0
Second age sword went from 121.0~>131.0

Don't bother if you have a FA. Waste of time and money.

You confuse the numbers, they benefit from a +5% increase in Tactical Damage Rating, not DPS

Tactical Skill damage is 50 + Tactical Damage Rating (Level + Tactical Damage Rating at levels lower than 50)

So not a 5% DPS increase, more of a 2,8% DPS increase

Still it´s a free DPS boost, why not get it, it has no downsides

Get them no matter what type of LI you have. It's still a DPS buff on FA, so why not? You don't have to pay TP for them if you don't want to. My SA bow is really enjoying its massive DPS buff against creeps.

Well 3 crystals will get a SA close to the level of a FA but it's much better to use on a FA because, although the DPS increase isn't as great, you get to increase the amount your legacies can be upgraded (current cap is 9 but with 3 crystals it's 15).

Wrong, it´s still 9. It´s bugged and shows 15, but it´s still 9.

Good players with 2nd ages with star lit crystals: godmode.
Good players with 1st ages with star lit crystals: no change to godmode status.

In conclusion, the change to freep dps has just widened the milf vaginal gap even more than it was before, and needs to be met with a slight dps boost to creeps, specifically reavers at least.
