It was nearly a year ago that the server migration occurred, and the Iron Axes, born of that event, forge onward towards Khazad-dum!. With our birthday coming up in a few weeks, we've decided to plan a few events and celebrate the heady occasion One of the primary events will be a party, and this post is meant to, first, put the word out there that this party, and probably the other events, are open to the public, and second, to see if there are any performers out there interested in singing a song/telling a tale during our main celebration(s).
While we don't have any specifics yet, the main party will be either Wed. June 13 or Friday, June 15th. Maybe both, as a matter of fact, as we want to have events during both EU and NA play times.
So if interest, let me know here or in game, and I'll keep this thread and interested parties updated with details as we iron them out.
Here is the program for our week-long of heady celebration for the IA anniversary. Several events have two starting times to accommodate both our EU and NA folk. All events are open to the public, and we'd love to have anyone show up who might be interested in doing so!

Khalis - Elven Warder & Captain in the Warband of Imladris
An Elven Kin based in Rivendell, composed of Elves and Men in honour of the old alliance formed by Lord Elrond.
"The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells.
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells."
Hey! Thanks everyone! I'm personally pretty psyched we've come so far - I've met some really good folk in the IA and on Laurelin, have made some really good friends (and like to think the IA has brought some people together as well), and have never regretted the decision to come over
Our celebrations kicked off to a fine start yesterday - some fish were caught, hobbits were fed, new friends were made, and leaf was smoked. Congrats to Dinkum for winning the "Last to show up" award.
Hail to your beard Oaric, shame I'll be forced to miss this thanks to the all-mighty laws of nature but my invitation of a keg or two by that hearth downstairs still stands!
