Thread: Why doesn't the launcher appear?

I recently downloaded and installed the game pretty smoothly, as the only problem I encountered was that Avast closed the game downloader like every 5 minutes. I was able to get over the problem by turning Avast off while I downloaded it. After I finished installing the game successfully I marked the option to start the game before hitting "finish" and that's where the problem started. The game won't run, I have clicked it a lot of times, I have waited ten minutes and nothing happens, it's like I never clicked it in the first place. I have tried to run is as administrator and nothing happens either (I'm doing it with the shortcut). I have tried starting it by using the TurbineLauncher and nothing happens with that either. I have already tried some of the things I have read online that have fixed similar problems, but I've had no success whatsoever. And the TurbineRegisterGDF won't do anything or say any message when I try to open it either.

Edit: I just found the answer to the problem on a earlier thread from April 19th. Turns out I had to make a shortcut of TurbineLauncher and add some text to it's name.
