Thread: Returning Spider wants to know what to slot now to do well in the Moors

Hi all,
Since the Weaver forums are gone now (they were here along, long, long, time ago), I was wondering what should be slotted in traits and all to be a helpful spider in raids and solo. It's been a while for me, so please begin a civil discussion. I played in the 1-2nd year of LOTRO.

I dont know what rank you are, but here is what I slot.

Corruptions
HfP1
HfP2
HfD1
HfD2
DfP2
Mastery1

UPSHOT: +30% health, -15% power, +3.8% damage

Racial Traits: Unless you are VERY high rank you have plenty of space to slot every trait available to you.

Class Traits:
- Armor Boost (You are squishy and this helps phys and tact mitigation a lot)

- Health Boost (Creep morale boosts are multiplicative. The more you have the better off you are.)

- Enhanced Skill: Piercing attack (+20% damage to a skill on a 3 sec cool down is nice)

- Enhanced Skill: Tainted Kiss (+30% damage to your main attack is sweet)

- Enhanced skill: Trap Door Sanctuary (Incredible heal in your burrow. It's worth the turbine points.)

- Swift Weave: (Sure its only -.25s on inductions, but in some fights that the difference between being able to use the skill or not.)

- Strong Brood: (Scytode brood looks tempting but it's a trick! The AI on the ranged pet is messed up so it will not consistently attack)


Audacity: Get this to rank 7 as soon as possible

But GL its pretty rough starting up with new focus on the LOTRO STORE and uber high skill costs for low ranks
