Great fighting last night/this morning, everywhere from GV hill to Lugz, including a heroic defense of TR by the creeps. More importantly, both sides had good numbers and were pushing back and forth constantly.
I haven't been in the Moors all that long, but if this trend continues (the day before was good numbers and action-wise as well) we might not have to go down as a dead pvp server.
Lets keep our numbers high and the fights moving, its more fun for everyone!

Freeps ought to be more aggressive when grouped. It's really not that hard to faceroll. Creeps will always prevail, however, if they have larger numbers as NUMBERS is the key creep weapon. Always was and always will be. It was, however, quite painful to watch 5-6 creeps stroking it out on stab while the rest are actually fighting near WCR/GV. That's what I've witnessed during my short stay last night.
On the light note, keep up the numbers though, been decent action recently. Keep moving, quit hugging, no need to be afraid to initiate pvp.

I've said it too many times now: the problem on creepside is the number of players that won't fight until it's super easy. It completely skews the numbers out there since once the freeps start to look a little vulnerable, all the ######s roll into action revealing the real numbers. And of course when it's not so easy, the creeps actually doing the fighting are getting facerolled constantly while the ######s sit in the back watching and waiting. Freepside of course has it's own problems (primarily all of the facemelters that have no clue about working together), but in my very humble opinion, the vast majority of the lurkers are on creepside.

You just described yourself, miltolas. Google the definition of the defense mechanism: Projection.

I typed out a response and deleted it. I replace it with this: blah, blah, blah. I embrace my reputation and revel in it. It won't stop me from stating things that are actually true though.

Well the Ancient Glory that was out certainly was aggressive. Both freeps and creeps got their share of kills. And when the action started to get really good creeps didn't really outnumber freeps, it was more freeps outnumbering creeps when both the AG and Murder's group was out. So when those 2 worked together it was hard, otherwise it was more fun.
Anyway, Props to Butta for starting the group on creepside, and props to the Freeps who kept coming back to more.
I hear what you are saying Milt, but Freeps have the same problem they have had for 2 years, no leadership, and as you said, they don't work together. I logged last night because I was on my warg telling Creeps where the Freeps were and they just sat at stab while Dafro and I got rolled. ./shrug, I guess I should've stayed on, looks like the action improved. Problem is now, you get a couple minis, a couple RK's, a guard and a cappy and you need almost twice their numbers to get anything done. Have you fought a Mini lately?
Now appearing daily with 2 shows on weekends in GW2
both sides normally lack leadership, creeps turtle to much and most freeps are monkeys with a computer.there are exceptions to this but from my expirence this is what i see most nights.
but later last night the fighting was very good for the first time in months. Both sides pushed, healers healed, and even after wiping people kept comin back for more

That was a good night all in all. I'm sure it was good action from both sides of the coin.
Personally I think it should always be like that.
I might be speaking to no one other than myself, but seroiusly, back in SoA, the Ettens was a gold mine. Phenomenal action just about every day of the week. There was a sense of passion from both sides that has, nowadays; become very watered down.
People don't like each other, hold long standing grudges.......and seriously, the list could go on and on and on.
I remember that night.....we had a 6 man AG group and Murder had another 6 man group. It was good fighting for as long as I could stay awake and around. We communicated between each other, tried to get stuff done......but the creeps actually had some real leadership going on, and it made all the difference IMO. It was solid pvp for a couple hours. Very good action.....nothing over the top on either side, and quite similar numbers.
Call Butta what you want, but in all actuality, he's a breath of fresh air......and he gets stuff done when he's on. So long as he doesn't go the warg pack way... Overall; I've never really had any major probs with him, and he's a solid contributor to our servers pvp. He's actually not a bad guy once you get to talk to him.

Nothing beats Meldrath's rage...and talk about lacking people skills. If you weren't "on the shield" you were not only booted, but exiled. LOL. The drama in those days was top notch.
~That which does not kill me had better run pretty damn fast.~
