Thread: Plz give wargs damage on our skills

4 of our skills have absolutely no damage on them. These are skills such as savage fangs, and throat rip with descriptions like: "You rip at your target's flesh, tearing muscle and slowing his attacks."

I would think that having my muscle torn would hurt. These skills should have damage on them, even if it is the pathetic token 300 that's on most of our other skills...

my warg spamms 1k+hits every time how much more do we need??

Out of all the balance issues and stuff, you feel this needs attention?

It really doesn't matter. The skills that don't do damage (which both reavers and wargs have) are debuffing skills. They're meant to debuff, so even if they did do damage it would be so low you wouldn't even notice it.

They aren't damage skills...they are debuffs...like lots of other debuffs they don't do damage.

To be fair, if this changed happened it would have to apply to freeps as well, especially the Loremaster. Then everybody would be crying OP.

I'm betting this thread was made with Hamstring in mind. That has ALWAYS bothered me. Nearly every Freep slow has a damage component, not so for Warg. Reaver too iirc. And their Slows operate under the premise you're mutilating the Freep in question. Never made sense to me.

I don't think Snap is worth it most of the time, I'd definitely use it if it did SOME damage. Savage Fangs also lacks a lot of utility, but I use it if my Pounce fails to proc. I guess it's ok.

I'd sooner Throat Rip work more than half the time than do damage. It's main use is vs Tactical classes...who stack Will and Vit...which creates massive Resist Rates...on a skill that seems to resist abnormally often as is.

Barbed arrow, hunter's biggest slow and can dev over 1k, Im not suprised that freeps will shout out "op"op"op" at anything which can kill them.

Against light armour classes with no audacity, yes. (1164 dmg) Against everyone else, no.

Barbed arrow isnt hunters biggest slow, quick shoot in S:S is. Stays for (AMAGAD!) 8 secs and can be potted. Barbed slow can be potted too, and stays for ~10 secs, correct me if im wrong, dont remember and dont have game in work to check it.

It served as an example on slows/debuffs on freepside deals damage. Hindering shot is pathetic in comparison

Quick shot in S:S isn't hunters biggest slow either(even with legacy) low cut is.

yeap, i forgot Low cut slows too

Mainly, I think there should be damage on Crippling Bite and SF. Every freep slow has damage on it and SF has a damage component on it (the pathetic bleed), but does no upfront damage. I use SF almost on CD since when CB is up, I pop it to renew my slow and give me a chance at a stun. Should pounce not proc (which is about 80% of the time), then I use SF for the debuff and bleed (not sure if they fixed the SF debuff bug while in flayer though...).

Snap I use on CD since it's -10% outgoing damage which is huge and I still think that it should have damage on it since you're a warg and you're ripping or biting your target...

Wargs are currently the strongest creep class, devs should focus on the others, not wargs again.

Take away warg's shield so they can't block and I'm all .... wait.... wargs can block?


I'd rather the devs forget about wargs completely and focus on a new PvP zone.

champs and cappy block also without shields get all facts right ty.

As far as I'm concerned, given the # and strength of wargs currently, they should get a boost when the next gen LOTRO MMO comes out, The Lord of the Rings: The Search for More Money.

Burg: Dust in the Eyes = very weak slow (only -25%) and..... wait for it.... NO DAMAGE (It's fine that way because its a debuff.)

Wargs arent hurting for DPS right now. Lots of other things need attention before this suggestion is even given consideration.

Wargs have it pretty bad right now, I agree with OP.

Guys, Guys... Obviously the most pressing issue of the moors is giving wargs more damage, they're totally the most underpowered class out there!

True, forgot about this one, but it also has a +20% miss chance and can have it's duration increased (max I've seen is 50 seconds, but not sure if that's the highest it can go) and it's aoe. Add this (or something comparable) to warg's slow and I'll be happy.
