How Do I Get to Trollshaws from Bree?

I realize that wanting to go to Trollshaws requires me to be level 30+ and I am but ive never been outside of Bree Lands or the Lone Lands. Ive leveled up everywhere in these 2 areas and i want to go to Trollshaws. Could anyone point out a decent route to get there from Bree-town? I would really apprecite it!

    Thanks,
    Nooby

To get to the trollshaws from bree you need to travel to Ost Gureth(think I spelled that right) and then keep following the road east from there. Once you cross the bridge you'll be in the trollshaws ... it's that easy.

You just need to travel south out of Bree and follow the road past The Forsaken Inn and Ost Guruth in the Lone Lands. Continue following the road east out of the Lone Lands and you'll go over the bridge into the Trollshaws. the first stable is halfway through the Trollshaws, north of the road (follow the path) to a place called Thorenhad. If you miss it, just keep going east on the road, thru the Ford of Anduin and up the mountain until you reach Rivendell (a very good place to stop and tag the stable master for swift travel).

    Happy Hunting,

you could had just right clicked on the world map , also I think it has a drop down menu. that list the regions and you would have seen Trollshaws.

just a heads up, your first time to Rivendale (did I spell that right) , if you look on the map there is a point you do not see a road on the map, the path is there very grassy and a few switch backs, up and over the Pass
Big furry things that go "ROOoar" along the way too

You can do it at level 20(maybe even less). Just give mobs a wide path, and when you do get aggro, just keep running. Near the gates to Rivendell there's some stealth lynx cats that will dismount you, just keep running till you drop combat, then mount up again. The mount is important, it absorbs the first hit, which can be the difference between life and death at lvl 20.

Tip:Make the trip during the day, to avoid trolls in the road.

Hmm... not sure if it's changed, since it's been quite a while since I tried taking a character that low into the Trollshaws. Last I tried, it was possible to get most of the way through by avoiding mobs, but east of Bruinen, where the road cuts back and forth up the hill, not only are the mobs a lot tougher, but there's a lot of them and the path is too narrow to avoid any of them. The first hit would knock me off my horse and I'd be immediately surrounded by four or five red and purple mobs I couldn't outrun. The very next hit would send me to a rez circle clear back in the middle of the Lonelands for a long trek back to try again. I made about eight or ten unsuccessful tries before giving up. I did it again in my mid-20's and made it through, though even then it took three or four attempts before I made it.

What Niwashi said. The High Moor (that last part of the trek) is a red zone to characters under 20. This means the mobs are even more attentive to you and have an enhanced aggro radius (and many of them are purple), you're slower, and you will not rez in Rivendell if you die there, you'll get booted back to one of the starting zones.

I made it as far as Thorenhad with my level 18 scholar (it was pretty obvious I was NOT going to get to Rivendell in one piece) and was able to rez there, fortunately a kind hunter took pity on me and ported me out to Rivendell so I could do my crafting quest and grab the stable route.

I made this trip with my level 22 Warden on a Perlino pony. I got dismounted once via a stealth lynx. Ran off a bit. Got back on the pony. The entire purpose was to complete Gandalf's fireworks quest as part of the 4th year birthday celebration.

With the reduced aggro range, it is pretty easy to work your way up the switchbacks to the open high moors with out drawing the attention of the bears and the Sickle Flies. Worst case, they will spot as you pass them. At most I had two mobs after me. You get dismounted you are fast as the pursuit. They can't catch you if you don't run into them.

I took a total of one hit from a lynx. Why only one hit no idea. All I know he lynx was out of melee range when I fully dismounted. The chase was on.

Go there when it is a red zone. That is zero fun.
