Thread: Useless Master and Supreme Crafting Recipes for Weaponsmiths and Woodworkers.

Legendary Items a long time ago have rendered all Master and Supreme crafted two-handed weapons and staffs level 48 and above useless and obsolete!

So...,

Why does Turbine still have them available in these particular crafting tiers and still for sale in their respective crafting guilds no less???

I am a woodworker and i have asked myself that question a lot of times.

The Idea behind it is that legendary items are still optional for everyone. There are guys out there that don't use LIs at all. Either for lore or for RP reasons or because they like options. Maybe even because some guys want to have cosmetic alternatives.

Also there are guys out there that level to like lvl 60 (end of the epic question of Volume II) and than they enter Moria and start Volume II. Also some guys just don't like the grind. But most of that guys are solo players of course.

Actually I used a crafted bow on my Hunter while leveling to lvl 75 when Isengard was released. I still had my lvl 65 First Age Bow that I used and I didn't want to grind out a lvl 70ish legendary bow that I would have replaced at lvl 75. I used a crafted one from the Men of Dunland reputation recipes.

Many reasons and its nice that there still is an alternative although I don't know anyone that doesn't use LIs above lvl 55.
