Thread: Legendary weapon title scrolls for our rune stones?

My understanding is that scrolls that convert damage to (for example) Westernesse, work on melee auto-attack only for us, so they're basically worthless on a rune stone.

Is this also true of +x damage vs. particular mob type scrolls? That is, does our frost/fire/lightning damage get a plus, or just auto-attack melee hits?

Yeah, those kind IMO are worthless.

There are scrolls from Bron in Galtrev and some in Stangard which give some additional tactical mastery and other effects.

And most importantly, DON'T change your auto-attack damage type. Which, if my information is still accurate, can't be changed back to Fire/Frost/Lightning.

the dmg tye of the stone only affects your auto-melle-attacks so i dont see the point of not changing it if it gives u some other bonus like mastery

Honestly, I don't know. Stones don't have affinity anymore. Who knows what damage-type the auto-attack is doing now.

The scrolls from galtrev and stangard will not change the damage type of your stone like the other scrolls will.

I put a Galtrev scroll on my DPS stone and now it does Beleriand damage. This is confirmed by CombatAnalysis, which also tells me that melee auto attacks contribute so little to my damage that I don't really care too much what damage type they're doing because 300 mastery has got to outweigh whatever tiny benefit you'd get from those attacks doing elemental damage.

I haven't really poked around with Stangard scrolls...are there any there better than the 300 mastery Galtrev ones? A % elemental damage one would be awesome, as would maybe a mitigation one for a healing stone.

This scroll offers Tactical Mastery and changes your damage type to Beleriand.

I also use the class item scroll to give a 5% boost to either fire or lightning.
