Thread: EU population

Are there many players from the EU here?

Quite a few, yes, but mostly North and South American, with a solid contingent from Oceania. I know people from about a dozen countries here. =3

A decent number, I can think of at least 15 in my friendlist/channels and way more if I gave it a serious thought.

That's great, especially since there's a large number of newcomers due to it currently being the recommended server hopefully i'll never be lonely!!!! WOO

It's just i was being helped by 2 friendly members on the GLFF, one was called Amsterdam and another Slacker.
Amsterdam said he knew of only one person from the EU whilst slacker said he knew a few.

Anyone know what the population is like around the typical EU times? (7:00 PM GMT).

Someone also said they had to get up at 4:00 AM to raid haha (this person from the EU) xD

There is indeed quite a number of EU players here, more then you would think for a US server.

7 pm gmt would indeed be around the time when most EU players are on, thats also the time when the population starts rising from then. Before that time its a bit dead. (Well dead, but not dead dead)

We try to be helpful, but at early levels its recommended to use the local LFF rather then spam glff for help to kill a lvl 16 boss. (for example).

Aaand yes, if you're at the point where you can raid, it's mostly at crazy times (for myself its mostly starting at 2:00 am my time)

But I know ppl who are doing it on worse times

I guess i'll go solo then Q.Q, else get up at 4:00 AM, or mabye find some regular EU players

There are some groups that raid at either fairly normal times for Europeans or at terrible times for everyone around the world (so you wouldn't be the only one who thinks it's a bad time - ever seen anyone waking up at 6 AM to raid?).

And you're quite a long way away from raiding anyway, you have plenty of time to worry about that later, unless you have a thing for low level Siege of Gondamon raids.

Just considering starting here in the long run

I'm from UK and I have no problem finding groups due to times
