How is BW PvP? Is it raid v raid most of the time? What time do people come out? I will roll an alt on BW soon to see for myself but I am just asking some questions before I do so.

The PVMP itself is pretty good in here, but it's full of spying and freep QQing. we have many small group fights like 6v6s, but usually the small freep group turns into a 24man raid after first wipe, turns the map blue and disbands.

Oh, that's pretty close to how the server I currently play on is.

maybe, but as far as I've seen freeps really like to roll a f2p reaver to say how bad we creeps are.

It happens on both sides dicaprio :P

I can only think of 2 freep leaders who flip the map blue with no creep opposition and log....other than that not really, that map is all red 70% of the time.

But all in all this server has a bit of everything. Small grouping is fun but typically it turns into a big zerg after one side wipes a few times. Depending on what server you are coming from, this server is probably better than your old one.

There is RvR, some solos, small grouping, and the PvErs.

Agreed. There's zerg trash too.

bit of a lull right now with the usual summer slump being compounded by the recent release of D3. Lots of good 1v1 action recently in the evenings with a liberal sprinkling of zergastic raiding and QQ by both sides when outnumbered and rolled by a raid.

^lot of that unfortunately :/ theres some solo/small group stuff, but mostly that gets zerged, then the side that got zerged comes back with a bigger zerg

although it does apply to both sides

E has more solos, but more solo zergs. And last I recall I'm fairly sure they have more kins/tribes actively pvping in groups fewer than a raid-size. If you check that server out stay away from American prime/Asian prime. Unless you raid, I guess.

The only times I speak the word "with" is during meetings/confrence calls ... otherwise, it's the proper way of saying it ... "wit"

I run when I am about to lose so that you won't get any renown, and I bubble the dying creeps for same reason (you don't need to be in group to bubble)

Because being duo in a massive rolling solo-zergball means everyone around is goldtagging you two specifically

I endeavour to always leave TR blue when I flip the map, unless it is REALLY late and people want to do map quests.
I cannot say most Freeps do the same when it comes to Lugazag, and they do not have the excuse of needing to do map quests.
They also seem to camp Grams a lot more (Yand, Voa and others) - whereas I will only ever go to GV when looking for the fraid.
I will go there, show my cards and retreat to give the Freeps the opportunity to come out. If within 10min they have not moved and have shown no hint of expanding or getting a leader I will either A. Disband or B. Rage Farm GV.... but if you know me well I do not rage often, and I have never raged in-game on LotRO.

I don't expand groups/raids beyond what the situation calls for either, and before I do so I exhaust all other tactics/opportunities/strategies, I.e. Fight equal (e.g. 6v6) open field > Results in getting owned > Fight in NPC's (6v6) > Results in getting owned > Expand to 9 > Fight in Open Field (9v6) > Results in owning them > Fight in their NPC's (9v6)... etc etc

A lot of people do, however, expand pointlessly out of their inability to win and bad sportsmanship.

It's easier to roll a freaver and sit it in Grams to spy, than it is to roll a freep and sit it in GV to spy. Because freepside requires 40 levels and VIP (or an exploit) to get into the Ettenmoors and if you use the exploit the freep NPC's attack you.
