I've played by the side of many of you for a long time now. I have developed a great in-game friendship with some, and others, I have even met in real life. Some I talk to by phone, some, we stay intouch through facebook. One player I met here in the moors will be doing an internship this summer with the company I work for. All of this, from an on-line community called Lotro, more specifically the Entemoors. I really enjoy this game, and believe it or not, I still do. Not because of the many changes throught out the years, thrown to us by Turbine, but because of The Tolkien content and the friends. I write this so that you understand, I consider you true friends. I really didn't want to post in the forums, but I figured it was the easiest way to reach those whom this is meant for. I will miss my Freep friends. So here goes.
Last Saturday I left Freepside. I have decided to see for myself, or in other words, walk in another man's shoes, or in this case, a Creeps bare feet. I'm sure it will be a long haul starting from scratch. Some of you know me well, and know I'll be 100% no matter where I play. I'll still be on my main toons, just not out in the Moors. I'll be keeping up with book content, levels, and hanging out.
To the Creeps: I'm not asking to be accepted, I'm not asking for help, and I'm sure many of you will have lots of choice comments. It certainly wont be anything I haven't heard already. I just never want to be acused of feeding info to the other side or anything associated with that kind of game-play.
Some of you know me already, but a lot don't. Thought I'd get that out of the way upfront. Other than that, I'll be signing on, running around, hang-out with the few of my already creep friends and have a good time, no different than any other night.
See you out there.
Vin

Been seeing a lot of freeps try out creepside, lately. Will be good to see you out there.

I think its a great idea for you to join creepside. not because of your great leadership on freepside and i do mean in sincerely, I would expect you to be anything but yourself when it comes to playing this side now. And i can honestly say that on behalf of many of our Creeps community we do appreciate you for going in full throttle on creepside to experience it for yourself and we hope many others will take this idea and roll a creep as well. I, however am taking a hiatus from LOTRO, so i wont be coming back anytime soon. Maybe Luc will finally take upon himself the challenge to come over to the better side as well and see for himself what its like to be on the receiving end :-)

What does not kill you makes you stronger....
Though that which kills you makes your mother stronger....
Bravo! Another show of class Vinny. This is what makes you a good leader and a good friend to many. Don't expect Sars to give you hugs and kisses or anything like that.
Vinnybaby, finally you listened to me and came over... lol... you know all my creeps so just find me and I will help with your maps and other stuff Beware though, if I'm on my freep I will kill you
Yay Vinnie..it will be fun to play with you again....send me a tell....if you are looking for a tribe...Pouncing Pwny is always looking for good people...love to have you!
Well this totally takes the wind outta my sails after bringing out my minstrel for the first time to the moors last night :\
She's seriously undergeared and even with a hope token and cappy buffs has a grand total of 5100 morale but ya know what? I'm slapping creeps around better than I ever have before. Had a 5k Dev on a tyrant and was like O.O And now I can grey-bar people too hehehehehe.
Hope you can whip the creeps into shape too Vinny. They need it.
Oh, and if I find you.. I'm gonna dance on your corpse once in awhile

Reason: I apparently can't spell small words...
Vin, so sorry you wont be around on your freeps. I think you were the first raid leader in the Moors to accept me into raids with my disability. Always great fun trying to keep you alive. Can't see myself as a creep so hope you come back over to freepside some day.

I'm sure Vinny will find the welcome that you didn't.

That is what happens when you are dealing with a good guy as opposed as a not so good one. Vinnie will be most welcome creep side for whatever time he chooses to run with us. But I will miss getting to hang out of the keeps and sing bad songs to him. (Though he never gets to hear them)

I think it's a good step. Always a smart idea to be able to relate to others.
Not sure how matchups will work out once someone is making full raids creepside and no one is leading freepside. Time will tell I suppose.
What are you making? BA seems to be the easiest transition for most hunters, but IMO other than the arrows going out, that's about the only common aspect between the two. Might be a good first step to BA it up though so you can see the damage differences up front. Then maybe a weaver as a comparison to the LM? Definately do some solo running around once you hit R3 or R4 and check out the 1v1 action.
Also.....MAPS MAPS MAPS. Maps should probably your primary focus initially. I mean it's awesome to go fight, but if you're running back from Grams everytime you die....yeah no fun. Completing the map quests and then deeds will also rank you up and get you comms so you can buy some skills.

Thank you very much for the words of welcome. I was surprised by the responses. I have been playing Creepside for a few days now, and I have logged many hours already. Wow, I can't believe the grind ahead. Maps?!!, tell me about it. I have already made so many trips back from Grams, I've lost count.
Moof-1, I did opt to go with a BA as my main creep, only because, as you have pointed out, it seemed the most natural. I'm sure I'll give all the classes a try and I'll learn which one feels the most comfortable.
I have felt the wrath of Jaiyne, been squashed by Treelios, toasted by Shilore, stomped by Callenor, and all I can say is.....DAMN!!!......Them Freeps are OP. lol...
I have been having a lot of fun and one day I hope to get to the point where I can put up a good enough fight. Thanks again for the Creepside welcome.
Note to Sen. I will miss running with you. Disability you say? That's the case in real life, but not here in the Moors. I was always thankful to see you come on line. You are an outstanding minstrel. What I was always amazed at is how you would anticipate my movements and even when I would over-extend, I'd turn and you'd be right there, trying as hard as you could to keep me alive.
Cheers and thank you Sen.
Here's to new adventures.
See you on the Battlefield.

Vin im going to need the name of ur Creep so I can put it on my hit list If you could pm it to me please =]
Cheers, Vin! I really enjoyed your freepside raids. In fact, I mostly have you to thank for helping me learn the group dynamic in the Moors. I hope to continue fighting alongside you in the months to come.
