Thread: Riding Skill Purchase

I have been trying to buy the riding skill from the LOTRO store. I am a level 18 and have the novice skill, but whenever I type the term "riding skill" into the search bar, it tells me that there are no options that I can purchase. I had previously purchased the riding skill on a different server, but when I go to the Hengstacer farm, it says I can't buy a horse since I don't have the riding skill. I would really like the skill, but am confused as to why it won't show up. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried just "riding" by itself?

I have tried both just "riding" and "skill". Both say that there are no available items.

try the bestselling tab if you haven't already

Are you checking the store while logged into your character or from the character selection screen? You have to be logged in to search for per character skills like that. Barring that, are you absolutely certain you completed the intro and have the Novice passive skill? Be sure to check your quest log for introduction quests.

Have you looked in your skills list.

Check Passive skills
Misc. Passive skills
Riding

make sure you are logged into the game with the character that needs the riding skill. Search the store for riding.
