Question Looking for specific pieces of armor.

I'm looking for a few specific pieces of armor.

They are not craft but are drops. I think they are heavy and drop at a fairly low level. they consist of leaf shaped scales and are colored either red or green. It's been a long time since I've seen them and I can't find any images. I'm interested in the name and if possible where they drop.

Anyone Have any ideas where I can find these.

    Thanks.

    Thanks!

Sadly though, those sites didn't have what I'm looking for. They are devoted to crafted armor or armor sets. This is just sellable trash statwise. It just happens to have the look I'm after.

Thanks though, it was a very good try. I'm still looking.

These armor pieces were all taken out of the game as part of the loot simplification. Instead of armor pieces, you will get either a task item you can sell for silver or more silver itself. The only pieces that remain are the landscape armor sets in place Angmar like Sun-lands. Some non-set pieces in Carn Dum and Uru. Here is a reference:
    http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Armour_Sets_Index
what we have left. See the section called Non-Class specific sets. Those sets include some instance sets like Barrow-warrior. Quest sets like Fem. Plus the rare loot sets like North-drake, Sun-lands, West-lands

That page lists 7 loot sets - Random drop. I don't think there were ever 3 level 40 sets. I only seen the light armor pieces.

Sorry I should have been a bit more clear. I don't the this was an armor set in that sense. It just several pieces that all looked similar in style. The only piece I can clear remember was the shoulder pieces. Keep in mind I'm working off memories almost 5 years old here.

    Thanks Though.

Obviouly I didn't do a good job explaining. Let me try again.

You played five years ago. At that time there were a lot of non set loot armor pieces. Some had some very attractive looks. You can not get them any more. See previous post about loot simplification.

The only landscape loot drop armor pieces left belong to the seven armor sets that I referred to.

You are going to have to examine the various reputation, quest, cosmetic, store, instance and crafted pieces. Plus the items still in Carn Dum and Uru and the seven loot drop sets.

The good old days when you could find all these white, yellow and purple armor pieces on bodies. Those days are gone.

Unfortunately, Lotro does not have a complete database of all the armor pieces showing how they look. Where to get them. If you have a specific look in mind, your best bet is to start a thread in general. Explain in as much detail as possible. Pics would be best. What you want. If that apperance exists in game currently, someone will likely tell what you need. It may be an answer that is annoying. Such as, That is the look of the level 50 Annuminas set.
