Discussion: Peasant roleplay/kinships?

Hi all,

I've searched the Laurelin Archives, but couldn't find anything there. So I'm asking here.

I noticed there is a lot of different types of roleplay going on from militairy themes to race-only. But what I'm looking for is peasant roleplay. I've got three characters (all human): an old widowed farmers' wife, a middle aged fishermen and a young female jeweler. They live ordinary lives in Bree and it's close surroundings, trying to make ends meet, selling their wares and have a relaxed time during the evening in the Pony.

I was wondering if there are any kinships who focus on peasant roleplay. I'm totally not into the big hero/fighting/militairy rp, but I don't like to play Mary Sues, Godmode characters either. I find it much more exciting and challenging to play ordinary characters.

Does anyone know if such 'simple' rp, open to human, kinships exist? And if not, if there are players who would be interested in setting up a group (not necessarry a kinship) who on a regular basis would love to rp with their farmers/fishermen/cooks/etc.?

Bree Folk might be what you're looking for. I'm part of it on my second character, Roymund Hagman, whose an simple huntsman from round breeland. The kin itself seems quiet relaxed about RP, not enforcing it via Kin-chat and such like, but our members are quiet a regular sight around Bree and the Pony.

If your interested, throw Sefa a PM/Letter in game. I cant remember the leader/other officers names i'm afriad, but shes quiet active ;P

I've seen bree folk around though not sure how active or organised they are. If there isnt one that fits, why not start one!

That would be an idea, if it wasn't for that I'm fairly new to the game and that I'm an admin of a sim breeding game, which already consumes a lot of my time. I simply don't have time left between that and the rest of my real life to start up and run a kinship.
