Now Phase 5 is fixed our kin is going to start working on getting this fight done on T2. The trouble is, it's still very very hard so I want everyone in the raid to bulk up their survivability.
I'm hoping we can run with 4 champs traited for DPS/Fervour but with capped (or close to capped) Tac Mitigation and 10k unbuffed morale. I'm hoping we can still keep Might at 1700 - 1800 and PM over the 20k mark as there is obviously still a lot of DPS to be done.
Has anyone got a similar build that they use? I'm thinking of starting off with 3x Deluagos (Shoulders, Chest, Gloves) and 3x Othrod (Helm, Legs, Boots), then maybe the tanking Limlight Jewlery set, then focussing everything else on Might, PM and Tac Mit. It would be good to hear any thoughts on any pieces that would be essential to max these number.
Thanks

At 12.5k tact miti and 9.5k morale, my champ has about 19k phys mast and 5k crit. That's my usual PvP build. It isn't suitable for DPS, really, just for survivability.
I'm not sure 3 Delulagos/3 Orthod is ideal. The Orthod 3-piece bonus is really only helpful for tanking. It would probably be better to go for 4 Orthod/2 Delulagos (or Ruithador, depending on whether you need more Finesse or Crit) with more mastery/crit focused jewelry (and mits of course) or 4 Delulagos/2 Orthod. This latter setup is probably more viable as you could go for the Delulagos pieces that already have decent vit/morale, plus it gives you more room to play around with jewelry/cloaks and whatnot (where lots of the mits are going to come from) without dropping too low in DPS potential.
If Moors gear is an option, there's also a ton of tac mit to be found there.
You don't want to sacrifice too much DPS for mitigation, but there are some items which give you lots of survivability without loosing much damage (pits purple neck for example). The first 4 phases are fairly easy now, the quicker you can burn down a few of the sarumans in the last phase (esp once you get acid down for no full-heal bubbles) the easier it is.
We've not even finished Saruman T1 (we don't have the luxury of tailoring our group setup, and even go with 11 at times with me tanking and only 1 captain) so I'm coming at this from a nOOb point of view, but won't the champs be the least of your worries, burgs, LMs and minis will surely be far more squishy than your champs. I realise that the champs will be tanking the shadow versions, but sacrificing a lot of dps to beef up your champs may not be the best approach. Would it not be better to take an extra guard and spread the aggro around 3 tanks, rather than reducing each champs dps by a third? Bringing a third healer could be another option?
I tank quite a lot on my champ and I find that to increase tact mitigation you always have to sacrifice phys mastery (and worse a LOT of crit). You can get to about 8k easily without much sacrifice but after that your phys mastery takes a pounding. Also as you reduce the champs dps the heal return from revealing mark reduces which ups the healing load on your healers... It's finding the balance between dps/healing/survivability I guess that's the hard part of that fight
The fight is an out and out dps race so the last thing you'll want to do is sacrifice a lot of dps...?
