    Increase the stats on virtues

The stats on virtues have never scaled outside the virtue cap increase. Now that player stats have increased greatly, the + stat (agi, vit, will etc.) virtues never seem to be high enough to even temp me to trait it vs. a resist/Mitigation/morale virtue. Increasing them to be in line with jewelry stats would be a great start.

That's good idea. level 14 only gives +41 to your main stat. Seems kind of low and uninspiring considering a bauble gives +122.

In my opinion, that's a very narrow way to look at virtues. You're only thinking what they give to your main stat, when there's also only one virtue that has even that much of a buff to your main stat. Look at what else you get from them; you have five virtue slots and they can be used for much else than just main stats.

Mitigations, for example. There's two virtues with physical mititagion as #1 bonus. There's resistances. There's many other things. All can be very useful, depending on what your class is and what you're doing. Staring only at what the main stat feels like a completely wrong approach - but that's just my opinion.

I've seen way too many cookie-cutter style characters during these four and a half years I've played LotRO. They've always been in the game. They look at one stat, boost that as high as they can get, and ignore everything else, a good example of this is morale, apparently. And then they wonder why it's so slow to kill anything or why they're still dying.

As for the suggestion, I don't think that's needed. We have good enough bonuses on the virtues already, and having less boost to main stat makes you think if something could be more useful. How about big pile of resistances or mitigations instead of a little bit of vitality, for example? That's what the OP has been doing, and I think that's exactly how they have been intended to be used; look at your character and slot the virtues you get the most fitting benefits out of.

It's all about finding a good balance between your main stat and survivability, and in my opinion, current virtues are doing just that; they give us buffs that could be more difficult to get otherwise, and the scale seems to be very good as of now.

Though, even that +42 to main stat can be useful. I have Wisdom with +42 Will slotted on my minstrel for example, to balance my outgoing healing bonus to exactly 50% when I'm in a group. If I didn't use that virtue, I'd have to replace a bit of gear to something that has more will to get up to that same outgoing healing bonus. Doing this, I would lose for example 300-350 morale. What this means is that Wisdom ca, in fact, be a very useful virtue even though it only has +42 Will.

My point with that last chapter is that even those "minor" +stat virtues can be used, together with the gear, for finding that good balanced "build" for the character. Look at the big picture instead of what a single piece of gear or single virtue gives.

my comment was narrow for a reason. it's directed at the main stat buff. i know there are other stats on virtues. my comment is for the OP.
