Thread: Reaver Tips?

I'm a R1 Reaver, any Tips? And I'm thinking of going VIP and making a Warg, any tips for them too? And while I'm at it any tips for a Champ and starting Minstrel? xP No need to answer all of them, unless you want to.

Starting a reaver:
Try and get as much infamy as you can even with your pathetic damage and horribe survivability.

Starting a Champ or Minstrel:
Faceroll

Reaver Tip: Don't go to Ettenmoors.

Don't plan on making reaver my main creep, just waiting till i get 25 bucks to get TP and buy warg, so I'm trying to get as much commendations as possible until then.

Here comes the best tip. Do not create any creeps. For your own good, don't be a VIP, if you are, unsubscribe as i and many others did, go and buy SWTOR or GW2, and enjoy your pvp, instead of getting bored here!

The best thing you can do at this point is PvE for your early ranks, maps and commendations. Trying to PvP at a low rank with 0 audacity (and no commendations for skills) is a rather pointless exercise for anything other than a R1+ warg with the 2k commendations needed for shadow stance.

Really? I've gotten 30 kills with 5 killing blows so far. Granted I have 32 deaths but still.

When GW2 or SWTOR are free to play or one of those games where you buy once and have forever, to hell with this game. I don't like paying a monthly subscription to games. But I'll stay and go VIP if Orion decides to nerf freeps abit so theyre not superheros, give all creeps a boost, make commendations easier to get, or skills cost less. And if he decides to make a PvP server, he'll be my favorite person ever.

GW2 is a game where you buy once, play forever.

And it's got better content... PvP....

it's just better. I wonder how many people will reply saying that GW2 will suck and it will be like every other MMO and lotro will live forever.

Freeps won't be nerfed
Creeps won't be buffed
They don't care about PvP, so no update on commendations or skills cost
They havn't made a new map in 5 years. They will not be making a server.

Ill try a month of GW2 and a month of SWTOR.

Best tip is play a differnt game or deffently play a differnt class.

Buy Diablo 3 and play that. I heard it's fun, free after 1 time payment and would probably keep you busy until GW2 (Which is also a 1 time payment and LOADS OF FUN. I played the Beta and wow. Don't listen to any of these baddies! All you have to do is get 5-10 Warleaders grouped with you and just make sure they bubble you one after another and you should have no problem killing one freep. Well that is as long as they stand still and don't get any heals. But who heals and who runs in the moors??? Come on now!

All joking aside, I will group with you once or twice and help you get a few ranks and show you a few things about reavers.

1. Camp EC
2. Zerg EC
3. Run NPCS off
4. ???
5. PROFIT

But ya, that's pretty much what moors has become for me. They're either hiding in there, or coming out with a large group and facerolling. I'd suggest making a Warg, especially since it ticks them off.

Stay back ... then if you see an opportunity (hunter, non-healing RK, hunter, burg running away, hunter, AFK Mini, hunter) ... charge in and give it all you got ... then DIE

I’m not even kidding, ignore your rating and accept death, and don’t run back when you're about to die ... keep fighting!

That way the freeps will be focused on you and it will give some other creep BA/Warg a chance to finish off the freep you attacked, and if they succeed you will get commas and inf.

Best Tip: Play SW:TOR until GW2 comes out.

Alternate Tip: Play a warg.

After reading all 27 pages of the Warg Update 6, I'm making one on friday when I get TP. And what rating is Diablo? I wanted it but I thought it was M, my mom doesn't let me play games that are rated M. And yeah, I'll probably play SWTOR or GW2.

Well if you can't play M rated games then you sure won't be allowed to play a reaver. Playing a reaver is rated F because all you will be saying while you play one is ****

Play any other game apart from Lotro.

You know what Turbine/WB are going to do with the money you give them? Buy Gems in GW2. Altough, they may be pretty sad due to no P2W.

Lolz. I'll keep with it, at least until I say how Warg goes. I'm really trying to stick with this game, because it's LotRO. And if Orion surprises me with something better, ANYTHING better, with PvP, I'll stick around.

Well, Orion did work on wargs. Now Wargs can actually kill somebody solo (like they ever do) so the freeps start crying because they have to work about 20% harder to beat them.
