Thread: AFK Killers

I have great respect for players that don't kill AFK players. I've seen both Freeps and Creeps respect this. It's obviously not a rule; It's the principle of the thing. Why am I posting this? Because I am seeing an increasing number of Creeps killing Freeps who are AFK, and Freeps killing Creeps AFK on Elendilmir.

What do you guys think about AFK killers? Good, bad? Please share your opinions.

It's a PvP zone, expect to die. You want to be safe? Spend 10 seconds to hit that map button and make sure you get to the safe zone...

Every death I've ever taken, I was afk.

All of them.

Not that I think it is a suitable excuse, I just really don't mind dying.

Depends on who you are. If you're on my bucket list of folks I have zero respect for, or have killed me AFK, then I'll hunt you regardless, but, if you're just an average player, I'll jump around saying hi. Most of the time I put a banner down, and go AFK, and most of the time I'll come back alive with people waving.

You shouldn't get upset dying regardless, IMO, much less if you go afk in an open area.

My practice is to go afk in a keep/ec if it's a short one, and map to GV if I'm gone for a while.

i only person I kill afk is Ramsters BA, just because his pockets are sooo full of stars

If you go afk in a stupid area, like on ta lawn or something i'll probably kill you.

Well what do you expect? Going AFK in a battle zone... not very smart. But I will stand and see if they are AFK, then I will leave them be. If not then we dance!

* If twenty solo creeps using teamspeak to coordinate would not zerg several stray freeps
* If a well geared freep let low rank creeps roam about / quest
* If a high ranked creep let undergeared freeps roam about / quest
* If the creeps wouldn't zerg the freeps in lightning tactics and let both sides gain respectable renown for fun action

* If creeps and freeps alike let their respective side pvp when they wanted and pve when they wanted
* If freeps didn't rez camp

It is a battlezone. The moment you leave the Steps of Gram or descend the stairs of Glan Vraig, you are an open target. If you do not like that, do not enter a PvP zone and stay in structured PvE environments.
