Pretty much what the post above said. It is your choice where the VIP goes. Turbine just activates what you have chosen. They can change it with their accounting branch (myaccount.turbine) not with in game GMs.
When you log in to the My Account or Support bit, you must make the transaction to the right account by logging it on. If concerned about non-secure logon on forums, the Turbine page makes you type in your info again and that page was secure last I checked.
