Thread: Problem starting game after update 7

Can't get passed world select, I get a hung app on lotroclient.exe on wifes PC. Played fine before update.
Reinstalled game twice.
Updated/reinstalled Video Drivers
DX9 current
reinstalled .net frame stuff
Flash player is current
Turned off Firewall and Anti virus, no joy

System:
Windows XP Pro 32
Pentium 4 3.4ghz cpu
4gb ram
ATI XT850

Do not feel bad. Ever since update 6 I have had many problems too. Launcher takes twice as long to boot up now. Makes my hard drive sound likes its running in double time lol. I have client crashes often now, mostly when loading into a new area. Quick travel to Bree got me today. Now my sounds are messed up as well as the sounds from the playable bagpipes. Its become very frustrating and sure needs to be fixed.
