Thread: Blue crystal in Silvertine Lodes

ive been looking for this darn crystal for hours. i don't know if the recent update has affected this area or not but when i looked up previous posts about it and tried to do the quest with the help posted it didnt work. any help is greatly appreciated.

Disclaimer: I haven't tried this since U7, and they have made changes at both ends of the approach.

I think maybe that quest has been taken out. I just went through that entire zone post Update 7 and did not get that particular crystal quest this time around. Here is an excerpt from the Developer Diary that should help you out:


Lost or Confused?
You might find yourself lost if you were in the middle of questing in the four zones that were edited (Great Delving, Silvertine Lodes, Durin’s Way, and the Water-works.) Chances are high that the quests changed a great deal, which will remove them from your log if they were underway when the changes went into effect with the release of Update 7.
My advice would be to head to the first quest hub of whatever zone you were questing in. This way, you can catch the new quests and pick up some of the flow, if you want to backtrack. You could also start exploring and encounter some of the new hubs we’ve made. Content was not deleted, but a lot was added and changed. Hopefully this will not impact your experience too much!

Did you figure out if the crystal quest was removed? I've been at the stairs to the city and the bedbug area but havent found anything. I've wandered around that entire area (11.5S, 112.2W) but dont even see anything resembling the typical crystal on a stand.
