Discussion: stance plugin

does anyone know of a plugin to restore your previous stance after signin? I just ran the warg pens with 2 hunters from my kin and only realized afterward that I didn't have determination on. It was seriously hard that way to say the least. It also seems I do that alot. I will signin and start doing something only to wonder why is it so hard. I have no power and am struggling to keep aggro and health up.

I don't know one that will do what you describe, but I know one that addresses this issue in another way. One of the easy options in Tonic Bars will pop up a bar (prepopulated with the three stances as clickables) whenever it sees you are not in any stance. There may still be an issue that the easy bar doesn't recognize the two new stance names, but when its fully functional you can put this bar in the middle of your screen and never see it except when you would otherwise make the no-stance mistake.

Nice, I really should try out tonic bars. I was going to suggest buff bars. Once you get it setup its easier to notice when you are stance less or when you left forced march on.

Tonic Bars is great and very configurable too .

I have my 'out of combat skills' e.g. Travel / riding / crafting hidden until 'mouse over' . Morale / Power Pots become visible at 50% , All 3 stances are in 1 mini bar - easy to see which is 'active'.

Tonic Bars is still not updated with the new stances, but it's easy enough to go into the lua code and change the names so that the Stances easy-bar works.

You are playing a class which almost isn't playable when not in one of the stances and where you need to remember all the gambits and now also their functions in different stances and you need a plug-in to remind you of getting your stance on?

Yes. Yes I do. It also reminds me to turn on a node tracker when I first log in. If I could get it to go look at my kin page and see who's on and what they seem to be doing, it would be a clean sweep of all the little things I mean to do every time I get on but every so often am embarrassed to realize I forgot.

Basically, if I'm running around on landscape, I'm not stance dancing. I'm reckless.... unless I just assumed I'd already set such an obvious choice....
