Sticky Gourd wording in combat chat channels

Can someone with Sticky Gourds do me a huge favor? I need examples of the text from the Combat chat channels for both hits and kills due to Sticky Gourds, for my KillTracker plugin. They should look something like this:

...scored a hit with Sticky Gourd Damage on X... (from the Combat Player channel)
The Sticky Gourd defeated X. (from the Combat Events channel)

For bonus points, I need those same messages from the French and German game clients.

    Thanks in advance!

PS: If you know of any other devices, like Traps and Sticky Gourds, that don't show up in the kill message as "Your might blow defeated X.", but rather as the Sticky Gourd example above, for any class, I'd appreciate the info. I already tested caltrops - they show up normally. I just don't know what else I'm missing.

My impression of this phenomenon is that it only happens sometimes. My best guess is that this type of message occurs when the AOE hotspot caused by the red line capstone trait gets the killing blow.

I know defiler blight patches were getting kill/damage credit(for the blight patch and not the defiler), not sure if they fixed that or not. I believe BA fire traps were as well, and possibly some hunter traps.

    Eh, why not.

    English:
    Code:
Your mighty blow defeated the Biting Neeker-breeker.
Moebius scored a hit with Improved Sticky Gourd on the Biting Neeker-breeker for 853 Fire damage to Morale.
The Sticky Gourd defeated the Restless Longtooth.
    German:
    Code:
    Mit mächtigem Hieb besiegt: Moor-Zirperkirper.
Dem Moebius gelang ein Treffer mit "Verbesserung: Klebrige Kalebasse" gegen den Moor-Zirperkirper für 913 Punkte Schaden des Typs "Feuer" auf Moral.
    Durch Klebrige Kalebasse besiegt: Moor-Zirperkirper.
    French:
    Code:

I haven't seen this behavior, but it's certainly possible. My direct experience is limited to hunter traps and burglar caltrops - traps always seem to show up as the killer, and caltrops never do, regardless of whether the kill happens immediately or from DoT.

As far as I can see in the documentation, blight patches don't actually cause damage - they just reduce incoming healing...is this wrong?

Given what I've seen, I would suspect that defiler gourds would show up as the killer, as well as blackarrow traps. I have neither to verify.

Noticing the "Improved" on moebius92's Sticky Gourd text (just the hit text, interestingly), I realize there may be variations on some of these. I'm going to assume that the unimproved version of Sticky Gourd works the same minus that one word. I'm going to test hand-wrought hunter traps and hunter snares to see if they show up differently as well.

Otherwise...looking through all of the skills in the game for all classes, both FP and MP, I'd guess that the list would then be complete. If Turbine followed any pattern with this at least - though since caltrops don't show up this way when I expected them to, my confidence in any pattern isn't particularly high.

Regular sticky gourd is just a vanilla attack skill - it does damage once and that's it. It doesn't generate damage over time, it doesn't generate a hotspot, so I don't think it should be getting kill credit.

Ahh...I see that in the documentation. So, now I have NO confirmation that it is crediting the Sticky Gourd on the untraited skill. The only hit message I've seen tied to a Sticky Gourd-credited kill is what moebius92 sent me for the traited skill.

If someone could check how the untraited skill is handled, it would be appreciated.
