Thread: Lotro crashing when joining building

I got this sometimes when i join a building like a crafting hall or a auction hall.Does anybody know how to fix this?Its really annoying that it crashes so often:s

I would get that every once and awhile. see if your videocard driver needs an update. that was my problem running eyefinity here.

It's been happening to me a LOT over the past 8 months, getting worse in recent months. I am currently in a dialogue with Tech Support about it. My system is plenty capable for this game, all drivers are up to date, etc. So, none of the "usual suspects" have anything to do with my issues. I'm still diagnosing, so there's no understanding yet of where the problems may be coming from, and, sadly, Update 7 has introduced some new quirks (non-critical so far, but very annoying), so bets are off..

Er.. Just basically posting to let you (OP) know you aren't alone. The client has been unstable for others, too..

I got blue screen crashes from entering or zoning into buildings in Stangard. It happened once last night when I entered the vault building.
It happened two times tonight with the vault building. Once when I logged onto a character that was in there and the other when I entered the building. I had another blue screen crash when I was zoning into the skirmish building from a skirmish I had just done.

The funny part is I almost never have blue screen crashes and rarely get a crash of any kind.

From reading other threads some people say turning off audio before entering a building in Stangard seems to prevent it from happening.

mute your audio. I only do it when im entering an instance or a raid now.
I used to crash all the time entering fangorns edge, but ever since i read muting audio fixes it I havent crashed once
