Hey my account got hacked and they basically vendored all my stuff so i sent a ticket on onwe of my 75's an within 1 hour i got my stuff back on 1 character so i switch to my other character then post anohter ticket and i got a reply saying it has been escalated like i did on my first character and its been like that since last night and its nearly been 12 hours with no reply what so ever. I was happy with how the GM's resolved my problem on my first character but on my second character this is just annoying now having to wait this long with still no reply. The ticket is still open so it hasnt been closed or anything and im woundering if its worth opening another ticket to see if it will get things moving quicker.

Opening another ticket, when your other one is still open, will make it go slower, not faster. I would advise against that.
id second that, iirc turn arround times for most tickets is 2-3 days on a good week. if everybody raised second or third tickets on the same issue it will only increase the turn arround times for resolving isssues.
some people have also reported theyve recieved warnings from the service desk that their accounts will be banned for harrassment because of raising too many tickets on the same issue
if you need to chase a ticket phone them otherwise id advise waiting
Ok thanks for the replies it must have been just lucky that on my first character it took like 20 minutes ill guess ill just have to be patient then :/ playing my guy atm and sending him money from my other character wont affect the investigation at all will it? because i dont want to play him and then they dont give me my stuff back because ive been playing him
Having a stolen account is the only case where you are supposed to submit lots of tickets. Once you got control of your account again. You are supposed to put in one ticket for each character that needs to have stuff restored - See point 6. For a VIP with all the slot upgrades - that could be 17 tickets per server. Given that one account is allowed hundreds of characters, I would love to know what the biggest restoration is.
No idea what current turn around is. Some of my friends it has taken over a week. At least one character is done. You have one character to enjoy the game with.

but then again there is a diffrence between raising seperate tickets for different problems and raising multiple tickets for the same problem.
ie
a: raise a ticket for account stolen = account returned = ticket resolved
b: another ticket because items are missing = most of the items returned = ticket resolved
c: yet another ticket reporting other missing item = ticket resolved
cant see a problem with this scenario...
but raising multiple tickets because either step a, b or c isnt resolved quick enough for your liking is a bit of a grey area
iirc when turnine took over the EU running of lotro ticket resolution kind of increased. like yula i cant be sure what the current turn arround times are but before EU im sure i saw GM quotes of 2-3 days... after EU take-over times increased to over 5 days.. since then ive not seen any real estimates
personally it seems strange to have to post a ticket for all characters wouldnt it make more sense to post one ticket for the whole account? but anyway im going off topic now lol

I suspect it is a work split issue. Each character goes to a different GM. It is the same reason that I tell a tester that rattles on about how she found 17 errors in my software. Wants to put them all in one bug report. I tell her, write me 17 bug reports. I hear "Argh". Can I buy you lunch? I may not fix all of them. I might "BAF" (Bring A Friend).
