Thread: Lets paly d3 until they fix pvmp

Lets start this troll thread with...there are about 10 players that are better than me at pvmp on our server. The main two being vid and the god xuneng. Turtleman is my d3 guy (torqky) and we shall all play that while turbine takes the time to make pvmp balanced so i can actually enjoy playin without being destoyed by an opponent with 1/15th of my skill level.

Here, here! I am so tired of skillless things killing me when I cannot even put up a good fight back! Stupid slugs are rez camping my stars away! I am afraid to leave the oneshots they are so ruthless!

To start with, moors were never balanced.Iam gona w8 Gw2 to quit lotro, not a clickfest easy-mode game that wants my money(beta sucked imo) finally it came to my mind that bbat told me when he came to DD to convert some people to this this failgame since his transfer was a fail and he wasted 3k tp on transfer.He told me: is D3 more easymode than a warg?(sarcasm) well my answer was yes, even though he didnt stay on to listen my sarcasm:BA is the easiest class in creepside since you 've bought skirmisher stance and revenge.Anyway sorry for getting out of topic,have fun and enjoy D3 Turtles if it fills your needs

Beta's connection and too many errors were there but hey it's a beta

I have been playing co-op with a friend in D3, got a level 27 Barbarian, its an epic game! My Barbarian's name is Stegis, look him up when pvp starts But yes I think lotro is losing its player base. Starwars, GW2, D3, and now apparently an Elder Scrolls MMO next year, its hard to keep up with. Lets hope Riders of Rohan will be enough to bring some people back.

I have been playing d3 the past couple nights and don't intend on returning to lotro pvp.

LMAO, SW:TOR was supposed to be the doom of LOTRO, Rift, etc., right now their player-base is shrinking, many servers are deserted and server mergers are clearly on the cards.

Fact is, many who 'left' LOTRO, Rift, etc. for SW:TOR have 'returned' sadly disillusioned, I'm sure this will be repeated with GW2 (so much hype from players and publisher alike), like it has for most MMOs ever launched.

As for the TES MMO, while thank God Bethesda aren't the developers (because God knows, they've never released a game they developed which was a dog-slow bugfest which needed many patches and at least two generations of hardware to make run tolerably) they're still in charge of scheduling its release (so release before it's ready for prime time seems highly possible).

As for D3, I'm sure the umpteen thousands suffering error 3007s and the other mass of errors and unable to play it would probably agree that it's better than PVMP in LOTRO.

Are we all playing the same D3 ? Its a hack/slash mouse simple game. First person went through all the content in 12 hours (completed).... Everyone will be back in a month. I feel like i wasted 60$ buying it. Visually, its pretty kewl and it is fast paced combat which is nice. At this point, it doesn't have near enough content to keeps peeps playing for long term. It is a nice change of pace game i will give it that. My 11 year old could play it and not die very easily. Now if elder scrolls comes out online, and its anything like their games I have played, I would probly be taking a lotro break to play it. I don't think D3 will keep peeps away from lotro long though. On the pvp note would love it if creeps/freeps could pick a night where everyone put down what they were doing and all go into the moors. I would find that interesting and fun for all sides. If they already have those dedicated nights, let me know, I would love to participate.

Already Playing D3 as well. Honestly, compared to playing freepside in lotro..its very nice to not have to grind. In D3 all you do is run the levels and Ra** shi*. I love it. There is no grind and no constant reminder that I need to pay more to play.

And compared to lotro pvmp....well....lets just say that I don't find myself raging when I play D3. Rather I find i'm having a genuine good time.

I know how you feel Torkqy, with audacity Porken has a tough time just beating through people's icmr :P. And I didn't p2w my flies trait so I can't even power drain well, all I can do is...live forever. Totally killed my soloing. Find me on D3 --> Borken#1340. Leveling my wizard Legacyborken xD trololololol

All this just makes me think again..... I'M GOING TO BECOME THE HIGHEST CREEP ON DA SERVER!

Really though, we had a great big ol' fight last night, was still going on when I logged I think.

I've been grouping with Ainur peeps in D3 and it's been pretty dang fun. Click click get stuff pretty flashing lights, do it over again in 12hrs. Brainless, but with good peeps, it's fun (especially w/ my awesome Blizzard hoogups!). However, I will be most likely playing The Secret World when it comes out, depending if I can get into the beta sometime soon.

Funny way of saying you miss me saving your butt all the time.

Let's face it, turbine has made warg into a class which has a rotation of 3-5 skills. An average warg(shadow) can go pounce, bloody maul, claws, claws, claws, claws ----> SUCCESS.

A good warg (again shadow) will be smart enough to go pounce, bloodymaul, claws, some other skill, claws, some other skill, claws, some other skill, claws -----> GREAT SUCCESS.

The gap between good and average has lessened. Turbine has made the warg into such an easy class to play. This is one of the major reasons why there are tons of wargs out. It doesn't require much thinking to be successful. Don't get me wrong, there are still good wargs and these are the ones who are thinking and also skilled, and their success vastly outshines the others.

Never called you easymode Cata, just the class you play.

P.S: I have a warg and can probably beat your warg in a spar with him, rank up ur BA and do the same to me. Let's see how ezmode BA really is.

My WD is named torqky but my battletag is turtleman. Hit me up so i can add you all to friends. Soon as i hit 60 i will be pvmping in lotro until blizzard gets their pvp going in d3.

lies veenom, dont know about u but ive been getting choppy lag here and there during the last 2 weeks, so when i fought u a few times my skills didnt seem to go off, but might have been server, but yes goodjob on fights! ur gettin better, but sadly :/ i cant really spar much until this lag goes away, why im just watching some fights lately.

That psycho Vid is already level 60, I'm level 50, a number of others around there as well. As Toa said, it's completely fun when you run it with your group of pals . When D3 loses its twinkle, I switch to League of Legends for pvp, or Tera (level 43 priest there, too).

Karoc, I'll add you also if you don't mind :3. I'm Doomsie#1246.

When D3 PVP is added, I'll come. I enjoyed D2 for 5 years, hoping D3 is similar.

The spelling error in the thread title hurts my eyes every time I look at this.

Hell difficulty champions are insane, and way harder than the bosses lol, onward to inferno! ./super scurred

I tried playing D3 and it's boringgggg. Of course I have the free guest pass and I can't play with anyone else, so maybe that's the problem? The only thing I liked was that if I held down the right mouse key and spun in a circle I just blew everything up. But even that gets boring after a while lol. I don't think I'm gonna waste $60 on it.

Yeah I've been getting some lag too, mostly when there's a lot of ppl in RvR fights though, so not sure if it's my connection or wut.

I may have been intoxicated when i made this thread. And for anyone that has experienced pve on a high level would agree that the champs are harder than the bosses. The bosses are predictable haha. The inferno champs are tough but they dropped this for me. Too bad i fail and i accidentaly salvage my ####.

It doesn't get really good until you start grouping in inferno, imho. Then each person has a specific job and it starts to feel more like raiding, which is obviously the best times ever. Soloing is just to unlock the bosses you farm when your friends are offline

I figured it had to do with the solo easy-mode I'm currently stuck in. I might have to fork over the $60, I guess!

yesi hate the audacity, i post my complaints on every pvmp topic i find to maybe slap lotro awake so theyll realize audacity is an unfair advandage to all the nerds that had the chance to rank up along side the enemy and unfair disadvantage to all those that start out to the moors rank 1 audacity and first person they fight is rank 7 audactiy and killz you in half a second. ill miss ya torqky='(

D3 is definitely fun but still has some stuff that needs ironed out. I expect to see quite a few patches/hotfixes in the coming months. Regardless, it is smash and grab easy and fun at earlier difficulties and inferno is maddeningly difficult. With proper itemization and quality PVP the game will live on. In its current state it would be fun to play for a few months. Lets hope they continue working on things and make the game last for a good year or two
