One dropped on T2C for the fire boss

I'm getting ball-kicked by the RNG too...several (at least a dozen) T3 L75 skirms, including milking Rift at L66 and at L75 for the full suite of LTs (eventually Corunir will kill the Torech and stop spawning LTs, but you get a bunch), and nothing...

I did about 10 level 75 T1 Tuckborough solo skirmishes, got 0 crystals.

The next day I saw I had 1k points, I bought 2 crystals for my 75 SA weapon, did one more Tuckborough, and got my third...

I know it's just dumb luck, but that's the sort of thing that generally happens to me it seems. I can't find X so I spend a ton of gold on the AH or Turbine store, and then immediately thereafter X drops.

That's very familiar. Let me tell you a little story...

Back in Shadows of Angmar, I had a hunter at level 50, the level cap of those good old times. I still had one of my legendary traits unfinished; one page was missing from one of the books. I spent days and days grinding the goblins, at the camp somewhere in Eastern Bruinen Source, as it was the best place for farming that missing page. There was no Forochel or Moria as options.

I had absolutely no luck after 3 days and perhaps a total of 18 hours of grinding.

Finally, I went down to Rivendell to check AH. There was one of those missing pages for sale, but it's price was a total rip-off; 7-8 gold coins or so. That amount of money was a friggin' fortune back in those days, but I bought the page anyway. I was so tired of the grind.

Next day, I went to my regular tour around Middle-earth to find some beryl shard droppers for crafting - and guess what? I killed about three goblins while going through Misty Mountains to check on the droppers within High Passes... and got the page I had just bought from AH, for a fortune, day before. It dropped from one of those three goblins.

You can probably imagine what it felt like... ARRGH! :P

I got one today in a drop from a random lieutenant doing a solo skirmish T2 .. level 75.. the rift. Altogether I've gotten about 6 in drops.. then plus the 9 I actually purchased.

0/120 T1 solo
2/80 T2 solo (both drops from end chest's)

All done at level 75.

I have killed about 2.500 Lieutenans on these skirmishes and no crystal drop. Did get couple keys and loot-box tho.

If you want to try to farm them, u want to use the Rift Skirmishes and NEVER hit fumaroles. That keeps lieutenants spawning and you can kill a lot of lieutenants.

Hmm, didn't work for me. I did 3 runs @ T3, level 67. Killed 53 Lts, 6 encounter mobs, 3 final bosses, no crystals (did get a bunch of T3 sealed relics, and 1 each T1/T2/T3 fused relic though and some gold though). Did 1 run @ T3, duo (soloed it), killed ~15 Lts including a few Priestesses of fire, got some more relics, and no crystals...

I got one from completing a solo T1 Storm of Methedras skirmish.

1/6 Fornost bosses

The one time it did drop we completed challenge mode on boss 3 (fire boss)

It seems like a group of us evened out the bad luck some of you are having. We did foundry t2 and 3 dropped. I didn't get any

Did my first ever Isengard instance last night, Fangorn's Edge T1, and saw one drop. I didn't get it though.
