Mid-week Wednesday of Homecoming, with Tea and Coffee
Wow, mid-week already. Even more, mid-May. Eek!
/accepts a mug of tea from Wilson happily.
Give me another day on the t-shirt totals, please. I got sidetracked yesterday, more than once.
I think the "so much to do" refrain is going to get tiresome, but things are definitely on the move now. It's almost hard to believe. My research position will end in a couple of weeks, to boot. It will be more than a little odd not to have work to anchor my days for a while, but it's not like I'll be idle.
A bit of good news that I am happy to share: after just over two weeks at the vet's, I *finally* get to bring Peri home today! My understanding is that she's still a bit wobbly and all, but should continue to improve. I'm just thrilled that she can come home. I'm a little worried about how the other cats will react since she'll have "vet smells" on her, but hopefully it will go well.
Wilson has all the coffees, teas, and juices ready to wash down bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs, omelets, corned beef hash, muffins, scones, biscuits, etc. Everyone grab a plate!

nothing new to report here,..just busy work,...
I did finally upLoad my first game to Kongregate( a free web based game portal).
I started learning the Unity engine about a year ago to this day and used this as my learning game.
If anyone is really really bored please check it out and rate it so it can get out of 'under judgement' land.
And feedback is welcome,..I saw a comment about some confusion on the instructions for example.

I am slightly less freaked out after several hours of work on the back yard and patio. The rest of what needs done before graduation and the ensuing frivolity on Saturday looks almost manageable now. The temp outside is 94°f, and the pool water is at 68. I am thinking that as soon as I get the girls home, it is time to float on an air mattress and let the rest of the afternoon happen as it will.

Howdy allez. I've been in lurk mode recently but I wanted to congratulate Peri on her recovery. And I know just what you mean by work being a daily anchor, Ms. Del. The past some weeks have kept me very busy (with surprisingly little time at the computer) but I can't seem to keep to a consistent schedule. My working out has been hit or miss and my sleep's all over the place. I think I'm assuming I'll be able to settle into a new routine after the dust settles with the whole move thing. I don't expect to receive the decision from the consulate for a few more weeks but that doesn't stop me from venturing down to the mailbox every day. >_>
Emboldened by my relative success with the bread I attempted to toss together some biscuits 'n gravy this afternoon. Given that it tasted nothing like it should and I felt pretty queasy afterwards, I'm going to say the attempt was less than successful. Alas. I think I'll stick to bread for the time being. Speaking of though, I did some simple enough math and figured out that each of those loafs costs about $0.30 in ingredients. Considering each loaf is effectively two or three decently sized meals, I figure that's pretty damn thrifty.
