    about the warg infestation.

i have only one problem with this, and it's the amount of ganking by all wargs in about 1 sec or less of each other, literally lately all it seems is, burn every cd, you die from warg, i dont know about any of you guys, but lately ya'll are making pvp more and more difficult to enjoy, i'm saying this about A LOT OF FREEPS i know, and even some creeps i know. yesterday there was roughly 12-13 wargs, ganking everything near EC, grouped or not grouped, i know some were, what is this becoming? let's farm everything that moves, ever since basically most of the freeps from ainur ( give or take think only ian came out anyways...) lately creep population has increased 10 fold. i'm not here complaining, im here stating, continue this, and im pretty sure this pvp server is going to end up like a friend said on windy, warg fest and no one will want to come out to the moors, and all you guys will end up having is npc quests. Either/or even as a burg, and im not here QQING, or complaining, i cant even take a step out of GV seems before i get leg humped by a warg 3 meters, i mean seriously? they even track while we are AFK IN GV? -.- what's the point of making op creep classes and gladly using them in a pack, against 2 freeps that are only out? knowledge of this, lets map were ever my little bro is, or i am, when u have raid, i have an rk, and myself, but you have 3 wargs, a defiler, wl, etc.. come on guys, seriously, i dont know much to say is, respect others, dont ruin pvp more then it is, expecially the wargs, that's all its going to do. if we haev to by any chance, id like to get some of you freeps to group up, and zerg fest with heals always in the moors, at least mini and rk at same time if this continues. oh PS WARGs, stop hipsing everytime you get hit by me or everything else, it's funny how fast you burn cooldowns.

Sounds like 14 creeps to 1 freep is bad odds. I think Turbine better find a way to get more than just VIp's out into the moors. Maybe allow non vip's buy a moors pass in TP, say 750 tp allows you to buy Moors access for 1 toon. that might help.

wargs are a bit over powered, but to me your burg is overpowered. cant tell you how many times ive been ganked, stunned, mezzed, and blown up by 3 or 4 burgs around ec/ta

I totally agree, I'm new to the moors and it's very hard to get renown. Usually only one warg will pounce me(and I can usually solo it decently enough) but yesterday, i was getting ganked by 4+ at a time. for a squishy mini like me...That's hard to get away from

i respect a lot of wargs, to a point, i just disrespect the one's that pack up, and how the gladly still stay out with the outnumbers, and not go to some other creep, either or hey razr, and true fin, i mean most burgs can do the same thing, i dont group really at all, unless its a needed thing, or sometimes ill be with asessen but rarely wanting anyone else with me, i agree to you can 1v1, and im on the verge basically getting another FA and swapping to QK and just bursting anything that moves so i can walk away without dying, i dont mind dying, trust me i purposely dropping rating most of the days, but i do mind if its every 5 secs i attack something lol

I was just minding my own business yesterday, soloing, when a warg, mistaking me for a freep, bit me (I think it was Roudy, I forget...). I lol'd and logged cause it was boring in the moors anyways. When I logged on the next day, Rayzr was a warg :"( idk what to do....

    Re: about the warg infestation.

Well everyone knows there's usually too many wargs out (although I haven't seen the numbers you were talking about of late recently), but it's sort of a chain reaction. We've had flavors of the month, lots of reavers, "hey walking about in stealth looks like a good idea so i don't get blown up," a lot get wargs, freeps see too many wargs, get lots of healers, creeps see too many healers, get more wargs. It'll always just keep changing. Also I'd just like to point out, I saw about 5 burgs with top ratings for yesterday, and only 1 warg up there. (I'm not supporting wargs, there are too many usually, just pointing out some reasons for at least part of the time. Also if we discourage too much, we won't have any wargs when we do need them anymore.)

    Re: about the warg infestation.

I suppose i can understand why a burglar would be complaining about the number of wargs seeing as they get spam tracked and all. But so far i haven't seen wargs as much of a problem. RKs make very quick work of wargs and hunter tricks like traps and roots and fears make it difficult for wargs to get kills unless highly grouped. If anything the 2 WL's + 4 filers group yesterday was tough. :P
    But not impossible to beat.
IMO burgs are more of a problem moors-wise than wargs will ever be.

    Re: about the warg infestation.

I will go out on a stretch here and say its because we don't have enough guards/hunters.
If your hunters are spamming traps, roa and tracks, most wargs will probably ragequit.

Most wargs are starhuggers. If you track it, it will run away.
Most wargs like packing. They will be close together. Rain of Arrows is your friend.
If you hit it, it is almost certain to run away.

If your shieldwalled, that should be at least an extra 10k morale pool from the guard. Gives you time to get yourself together and do something.

What I really hate are people who get on wargs because they can't kill the freep ball otherwise.
I seriously wish more people would roll filers or warleaders...Iridescent will probably get shelved also...did you know fighting 6 wardens is more fun than fighting 6 burgs? or that not getting jumped by a warg in stealth tends to make freeps more willing to come out?

Let me count how many people on creepside I know will heal.
Crygin, Herat, Guido Filer, Akzu, Turtles Filer, Roudy Filer, Xik...did I forget anyone? ( I havn't been on for a whiles)

Now let's name wargs that have to play an OP stealth class because their visible creep gets killed....
no one worth remembering. If you only warg, sure, there should be a few stealthed spys, but a 2:1 warg:visible ratio is ridiculous
lets count blackarrows. darned things with bows, I actually havn't even seen to many different ones out these days. apparently heavy dps classes are no longer the 'in' thing, but rather zergs have become the order of the day.

Every day I hear complaints that freeps are hugging npcs even with numbers. The truth of the matter has become that the warg problem is so great that creeps most likely are *NOT* outnumbered by freeps as you may think, but that most creeps are just wargs waiting to pounce.

If you are going to warg just to jump freeps then disappear as soon as they start hitting you, good luck questing your ranks.
I see red moors. I know there are wargs out. I know they will jump me as soon as I am under half health. Why bother coming out?

People are angry at those leaving for E. I WONDER WHY THEY'RE LEAVING.

in short, no more wargs please, more support roles.

I went to Imladris. Smaller server. I've had a much better time in a place I know no one in two days than probably the last month on dwarrow because there are less stealthed noobs looking for easy kills.

I know I sort of rambled in this post. I don't usually write in a clear order. My point is that I agree there are too many wargs but that it is an escalating problems because there are less and less people countering wargs.

On another note, I've yet to have seen wargs helping the main creep raid in being the first to attack vital members of the freep raid. If they would just spam throat rip those darned minstrels instead of going for that 5k hunter we might be able to kill the minstrel, and then we can get that squishy hunter who will not have heals and thus be even easier to kill. Just a thought~

How dare you advocate more sword and board guards in the moors. Granted, audacity has made them nearly useless otherwise, but still, how dare you :P.

^I agree with this statement. Hate hunters with a passion since we both track each other around the map, but they have a bigger range than I do so they usually find me first and go pew pew pew. Don't usually bother with guards 'cause they're such a pain in the ### to bring down

Not too sure about this one. I know that I've seen this, and have even done this myself (which usually ends up with me being blown up real fast). Glad to know that I'm going to get such a warm welcome when I bring Roarz back out -_-ll

Not so much of some of the older wargs (such as Cata, Ior, Wolo, ect.) who are willing to group if needs be and actually help out, it's more of a lot of croobs who all rolled wargs and only pack the whole time, only getting inf for themselves and not helping kill the vital targets. I would myself roll a filer or WL if I had the tp, but at the same time, I'm about the only active ranking spider.

    Re: about the warg infestation.

I don't think I've ever seen roarz out. Timing must be off.
I'm not saying the all the wargs are bad. It's like the dps: some of them know that letting healers get ranks is beneficial to them, but others don't seem to have realized it.

If only more people would be willing to risk their own lives for the good of the general creeps. If only filers could remain out of combat to rez them, except healing the living puts them in combat. Maybe that's why...won't get back fast enough if you volunteer to die for infamy. Then again, your healers are volunteering to take less infamy already anyway as heals still don't seem to give infamy...I know I read that it would somewhere...maybe I'm wrong.

My point is that people tend to ignore guards. Extra health pool that few people touch = good thing, right?

Why can't I hunt wargs from a plane? Oh right, only minis get satellite lasers :P

Everything depends on the makeup of the day. Yes, there will be days where freeps roll everything with 8 burgs. There will also be days with 24 wargs out and creeps rolling. It's just a matter of when.

Also...how many new (not alts) people have we seen in the moors lately?

I try to avoid Warg only groups as much as possible or well... I should say they usually kick me/leave group because I'm not playing the way they want me to play

as for the helping a group, you point me at a target, I will bite their ankle and make sure they don;t get away =3 it;s the way I was taught way back in the early days of the server, it;s the way I will always play.

I think i'm almost ready to go back on wut I said, although 24 wargs is extreme, having 8-12 burgs out is pretty much the equivilant.
