Thema: rks and spell casting

its so hard killing creeps with my rk lvl 75 i have changed my traits many times still my spell casting is to slow to compete with wargs and reavers and defilers their stunes are taking me down way to fast i think turbine should speed up the spell casting on all our spells on Rks.

Angelstar...I inspected you. The problem is your gear not the spell casting speed. Your WILL is currently sitting at 483 as a 75 RK. I suggest you ask for gear help on the Rune-Keeper class forums.

WOW not to be offensive but that is very low will. My lvl 50 mini has 560 or so. @OP Will is what makes your spells hit harder. You want a LOT of it.

Lol. I looked at your gear and jewelry and I laughed. The problem isn't your class, it's your gear and most likely virtues as well.

This I believe I'd the problem with PvMP. Players that either
a) do not know what they are doing
b) are tremendously undergeared
On freepside are on par or below compared to creeps. If Turbine were to balance us to end gear raiders then people such as the OP will have as much and chance of success as R0 creeps do now.
However turbine as made the difference between a ungeared and badly played freep compared to a fully geared and well played freep muuuuch more immense then the differene between a r0 creep that is played poorly and a r10+ creep that is played well.

Well the problem with that is that turbine has refused to expand creeps trait lines skill choices and ability to differentiate themselves amongst the same class. So where to balance? Balance against the well geared and well played freeps or the ungeared new lvl 75s? Either way there is a group that is immnesly overpowered to another group and a group that is extremely underpowered to another group.

The only fixes I see are for turbine to either mirror the classes or expand creep classes to had the variability to be able to be fully balanced. With no mirror classes and the lack of effort turbine shows to improve PvMP I don't believe there can be balance.

This reminds me when I did pits T2 with a guard/champ while on mini. I noticed the dps was super slow so asked the champ what his might was at. He goes "782" and I was like wow that is low. His response: 'I don't need it, i'm not a tank"

The route they seem to be going is to limit freepside builds to fit them more into predetermined boxes. We've got moors armor now, and the newly introduced crystals which narrow the DPS gaps between legendaries (2nd/1st ages). Its prolly a step in the right direction wrt having benchmarks for "balance" - low audacity toons (either faction) and toons with lower dps (either low ranked creeps w/o harder hitting skills, or freeps with underpowered LIs) are and will be UP.

HAHAHA I would never play with him again. I have seen champs that are outright terribad, my cappy can out dps them. Oh well, many other less um...uninformed people to play with out there.

Angel, first of all thank you for always being quick to rez and run across the map to do so Secondly, as the others have said it is your gear. Go to this link and read the whole thing that way you know more about all the classes as well as your own. If you dont have the correct jewelry or end game/raid jewelry, the crafted stuff will be good for time being as well as the rep jewelry. http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Character_Stats Your WILL is crucial for every 1 will you have it = 10 towards tactical offense rating amongst other benefits...including healing. I have seen you do both out in the moors so, max out your will and I am not sure if you have audacity gear or not, but that will also help you stay alive longer. I have been playing in the moors both creep and freep for almost 5 years, so next time I see you on I will duo with you and give you some pointers if you like. See you out there.
