In all honesty...grats....but the 30% renown buff you have 24/7, along with 3 rows of continuous buffs is a bit....much....on a champion in this era. :P

What's a creep gotta do to be able to speak his mind? I'm emotionally invested a bit into this game, and to see my opponents play with a lack of dignity that i find somewhat appaling, I (unfortunately) must speak my mind.

I've never done so, and never will.
I know of no kinmate who ever has, nor ever will, and would likely flame them to heck if they did. Same goes for spying.
You're posting on a Junior member account and thus probably don't really have a clue and just find it easier to explain the things you don't like with claims of cheating for which you have no evidence. That or you're flaming and hiding behind anonymity on an alt account.

This server has bred hatred for years. Our moors ancestors planted this root in the generations of soldiers to follow...can't change the past, and with such an inbalance in this game created by the developers....you never will have a balanced future...unfortunately.

On the other hand, if you did indeed count me among the "vet elitists", I feel compelled to clarify that I've been PvP'ing for less than a year, and am anything but a veteran. That said, I do have strong feelings about play styles (as does everyone), and will freely rant and rave against what I consider cowardly play. So there.
As for elitism, I suppose it depends on how you define that term. In my eyes, elitism implies a feeling that just because you've played longer than someone else, that somehow gives you the right to privately or publicly insult them for their inexperience/poor play. I also include in this category people who, when a greenie asks for help on even the most basic PvP-related matters, deride them rather than following the "keep mum if you have nothing helpful to say" credo. Note that I, unlike some, don't count commenting on play styles as elitist, simply because for the most part, someone else's skill (or lack thereof) makes no difference to my experience of the game, but their attitude when playing almost invariably does.
Finally, if you were merely trying to defend Renamed from Tom's accusations or w/e, I suggest you look at the state of the Windy moors as it has been ever since U5. People have been easymoding so much since they got 1Agers and stat cap unlocks and all that good stuff, it's stopped being funny. And some folks from Viat have been - sadly - among the culprits, albeit only a small portion of the PvE'ing, solo-zerging, rez camping, greenie-farming, easymoding population of Windfaila.
That said, most creeps are just as bad. They're everything I mentioned above, except they haven't exited the closet and declared it yet.

DP buffs I have no problem with...and although I didn't run out of DP, i no longer use every single viable one, because they're no longer available to everyone....so while it's not unreasonable to use them, it's still an advantage that a class such as a champ really doesn't need...especially against creeps.
Store #### is stupid. Anyone who uses it (broken legs immunity comes to mind ><) is just looking to be able to mow down whoever they want to meet. You can't even deny that the P2W concept is somewhat appaling....=/
And the second grats thread wouldn't be necessary
@TheJawz....I don't dislike you nor do I dislike Renamed....and although I suppose...in good nature/sportsmanship that the (minimal, as it is) trolling in this thread isn't quite unnecessary, do you think we'd get any more of our point accross in a new/seperate thread on the subject? In fact, that new thread would actually be trolled moreso than this one...this is in good nature, a critique of playstyles, at least on my end.
I can speak for shap as well, when i say he meant no personal insults. What we are trying to do, is prevent our future/current lower ranks to not be facerolled by a godmode champion with ridiculous buffs, by bringing it to the attention of one of the sources of inbalance. (as much as it isn't appreciated in a grats thread)

Agree with most of what you said, except this: playing a certain class doesn't automatically make you an easymoder, it's how you play it. Like Ryu said, Tom has an idea of what's OP against what creep class, and so tries to play fairly in a 1v1 situation (just like no self-respecting BA will pop MT against a hunter in 99% of situations).

Exactly. Why would people assume my comments are directed at the person, when I don't even know them? My comments are about nothing but their play style, which (as I said in an earlier post) directly affects my experience of the game. Yes, I'm being somewhat selfish (not counting the fact that these are issues that impact everyone that plays on Windy alongside or against the player in question). It's an MMO, everyone matters.

I didn't say I don't care. I said I don't care THAT much about you are everyone else in this thread spewing jargon aka whining. I like renamedfh, he is a cool person and a good friend. My opinion is to leave this #### for another thread obviously your opinion is that it's your right to say whatever you want to people in congrats threads. Although I will point out that this is obviously not an open to whatever people wants to say about this person thread. It is a very obvious congrats thread.
Again, in my case, I said nothing about the person. He might be totally froody, he might be a pormwrangler, I have no idea because I've never had any interaction with him.
What I have seen, though, is how he plays. And again, it's in no way just him, there's tons that play exactly as he does. Doesn't make that any more right to the rest of us, nor fun to anyone looking for real PvP.
That said, I just realized I completely forgot to congratulate him, for which I apologize. Ranking means nothing really, except as a measure of how much time you've put in, so kudos for that.
And if you've been playing out in the moors at all recently, Jawz, you'd know that the concerns Ryu, Tom, Ciro and I raised hardly constitute "whining". They're valid in so far as they help make Windy PvP the sad excuse for a leisure activity it is. I firmly believe that any Windfolian on either side that's looking for fair, fun PvP and a good time will agree with me. Play styles, more than imbalance, make or break a social game like an MMO.
Finally, as Ryu correctly said, any attempts to start threads to discuss this kind of thing end in trolling, disinterest and generally negative feedback. So yeah, I suppose we're just barging in and trying to get heard. And I for one am okay with it.
P.S. to all: I'm addicted to the game and irrationally attached to the server, so I won't be leaving either, feel free to not bother suggesting that to me.

Not going to put any quotes in as anyone reading the thread will understand when I say I agree with the sentiments that were posted in response; there's a reason I've not been out a whole lot. And indeed I've been creepside at times, but I ceased creeping years ago when things were far closer to balanced and can't find it in myself to play a toon other than my guard.
Not trying to argue about the context of what you and others are saying, rather, the point that I personally think it shouldn't take over a positive thread meant to congrat someone on an achievement no matter how they got it.

The thing is, my kinmate wasn't sitting there with a heal traited mini, 2 other hunters, and a captain (i might have made up the cappy but the mini traited heals and the hunters were there, oh, and forgot the burg). Even then, i considered it to be lame and really disappointing from him, so i made sure i told him many, many times throughout his push, and got him to agree to creep when he ranked. It would be hypocrite of me not to do so, and you can ask anyone in kin or him for that matter.
As it has been said, having my main freep a totally ezmoding class i do my best to find challenges for me.
Also, i have no issue with renamed. I've even grouped with him a couple of times when the amount of creeps called for an open raid, it's just the lame playstyle that one would expect someone high ranked and on the moors wouldn't have.
This non stop grats posts for the same bunch of rez farmers are getting old. Ranking has no merit when you do it like that. Granted, smarter creeps would help stopping the feed, but we lack such thing.
I think i made myself clear, i do not hold a grudge against anyone, after all we're just players behind a computer. Since pvp is community based, we have to do OUR best to keep it fun and cool.
ps: i've been pvping for 6 months so im no veteran but yes, i do spew negative trash. Also, been creeping a lot not to be a part of the problem Cirr, and not soloing a warg, but rather starting groups on a ba.
