Thread: Compilation Pack

I recently have bought a (boxed and new) lotro 'Compilation Pack', Volumes I & II. This includes the original game and Mines of Moria.
If I activate the(se) code(s) on my account, what will I get?
VIP status? TP's? Expansion quest pack? Character Slots?

Please help me with this matter

As long as they are both Turbine versions and NOT Codemasters
You will get 1mth VIP for the Original Game. Access to the 4 starter areas.
With the Moria Box you get the Mines of Moria Expansion which includes Moria Quest Pack, 2 new classes, 2 new character slots

After the 1mth VIP is up, if you don't set up a sub plan, your account will be marked as Premium. As you have spent real money unlike the F2P

How do I know what version it is?
The logos of both Codemasters and Turbine are on the box.

I entered the code and it says it's invalid.
I've sent a mail to Turbine support, asking them how they're going to fix this, as I feel ripped off...

You have a CodeMasters version which is indeed no longer valid.

You should seek a refund from whoever sold it to you as it does not meet the EU consumer law requirement of being fit for purpose.

If the seller knew that, you were indeed ripped off.

I very much doubt that there is anything that Turbine can or will do for you.

If there is a Codemasters logo on it, it is no longer valid. I'm sorry to say this but you've wasted your money. Turbine no longer supports old Codemaster boxes.

Turbine never had anything to do with Codemasters boxes. Turbine never accepted accepted codes issued by Codemasters, the Russian local operator, the Korean local operator, the Japanese local operator or the Chinese local operator. You have to talk to the company that sold it to you. Or see if there any legal recourse. Or contact Codemasters which made the box.

You have a Codemasters box.

If you are in the EU and purchased it, return it and demand a refund. These boxes are no longer valid and haven't BEEN valid for many months. Therefore, it no longer delivers what is promises and they have to take it back. Don't let them tell you that they won't because it's been opened.
