Lol at this rate the left out/known issue category is gonna be longer then the patch notes. They should have taken there time and waited longer to release this.
My female hobbit mini has undergone the same change.
The extra weight around the middle looks badly proportioned compared to the rest of her body, like someone stuck it on with sellotape, in the wrong place. And they've taken away all muscle/flesh she had down her arms, leaving skinny sticks in place of the fleshed out shoulders she had before.
Incredibly unhappy over this unannounced and awful change. Sincerely hope it doesn't stay like this.
Was this with Update 7? Or before. I just started playing again a few days ago after a break of maybe 6 months and when I logged into one of my female characters I was surprised that she looked a lot bigger around the middle than she used to be. Kind of jarring.

Definitely the update. I played my burg quite a bit yesterday (Sunday) and she was normal as usual.
And NO! She has NO bun in the oven! Buns in the tummy, yes, not the oven!!
The Hulking Pounder wounds Fisbo with Smash for 20,279 points of Common damage. Fisbo says, ''We may need assistance!''
The strange 'dancing' that the weapons put on back (halberd, loremaster staff...)are doing when running is intended? It's horrible on low quality settings on my laptop (i'm still need to check it on my other computer with high quality).
Yes, noticed the same thing on my LI Bow. In the Galtrev area it was horribly bad, it seems when I was running my bow and its Green Halo are out of sync and the bow merely goes shaky.
Very unnerving, seems to happen more in certain areas than others (maybe due to lag?)
Has Turbine staff commented on the Great River weapons nerf yet? I can't find any posts regarding this matter from a staff member.
Nope. The silence is deafening. Since they are avoiding it like the plague it may be an intended change and they will just keep ignoring it so as not to have to be adults and face the music.
Hunter's Split Shot now seems to be affected by applied oil (and has a very glaring icon for that state)
However this has broken the Faron set 3-piece bonus; crits from split shot with oil applied only reset rain of arrows and not split shot as well

They changed something with the riddle quest line in Moria. I was on "Riddles in the Tomb" before the update and now it's deleted. Anybody know if they removed the whole line or is there someone I need to talk to pick this back up? I assume that removing the whole quest line would warrant a line in the patch notes so I'm assuming just some kind of change to it
Edit - Found it. There's now a plaque on the wall just across from the mailbox in the 21th hall that gives the quest back to me. Not sure how the rest of the quest line got altered though.
Edit 2 - Man this forum software is a mess right now. About every other request comes back properly for me. I hope that once they get the update 7 stuff worked out they spend some time on this.

The above is from The Hobbit, page 10, except for my comment about never reading The Hobbit. Sorry kiddies, sometimes movie just ain't enough. Sometimes you should <gasp> acually read a book. What a novel concept(no pun intended). "inclined to be fat in the stomach'...fat in the stomach is part of the swollen condition in the middle that also includes wide hips and a fat butt. 'long clever brown fingers'... with forearms like Popeye? I think not
Sounds to me like the changes to Hobbit appearance is in keeping with what Tolkien wrote. If you want a slim and trim character try an elf. Burglary has exactly nothing to do with being slim and trim. It has everything to do with being clever and quiet. Hobbits excell at clever and quiet and if those complaining about appearance had bothered to read The Hobbit they wouldn't be complaining.
Given that it is now acknowledged as a known issue, perhaps you should apologize to the community for the post above. Given that you were both spectacularly wrong while being horribly condescending, an apology would seem to be the only recourse acceptable to a decent person.
Sigils of Orthanc can now be cracked at the forge without dismounting.
The horrible burglar crit sound was thankfully made quieter.
The IM ding alert sound is now controlled by the UI audio slider.
NPC speech is now on the voice-over audio slider.
There are more dead-ends in Moria, as a couple of the passageways in Silvertine Lodes have been closed off. (You can't get to Silvertine from Great Delving directly anymore, you have to go way away from it, looping around up to Dolven View, and take the long way past the Deepway.)

There is now a deed for completing the Twisttongue Riddle quest line. Grants the title "Twist-Tongued".
There's also a deed for aligned 9 mirrors throughout Moria - one in each zone. Grants the title "Reflector" & 5 TP.
Cartographile deeds have been moved from the Reputation page to the Race & Social page. Both "Cartographile -- Eriador" (not yet completed) and "Cartographile -- Moria" (already completed) were moved. Still no sign of a "Cartographile -- Rhovanion" deed though.

Yeah, I just finished it. The quests aren't linked anymore. There's nothing to lead you from one riddle quest to the other anymore. I liked the way it was before. The deed doesn't give anything but a title. Unless the finished deed log is different than the one when the deed is in progress, there's nothing there to indicate where the riddles are located.
I guess the promise for more openness with the playerbase does not include a response reference the nerf to the great river weapons. Is the nerf working as intended or a bug? Also it looks to me though I admit to being a bit unsure on this but it seems I am having to check more skirmishes to the IF to get the reward level up. Before I was checking 8 or 10 to pick through and getting the 50% reward now selecting 10 out of 18 only gives me 20%. As I have not solo skirmished in a bit this may be an older change.
Are the Star crystals working as intended? You get a 24.9 dps increase using 3 crystals on a second age and only a 2.2 DPS increase on a first age. That gap just doesnt seem correct.
On Bullroarer this bug was not present. The OP may write a bugreport but i will not. This is the Job of you QA!

Sorry to hear that. QA can't catch everything, and some things that may change between BR and live. I can understand that some people don't want to spend their time on live bugging things, after all, we pay to play, not clean up bugs. But at the same time, if it wasn't on BR, then obviously something changed between the build on BR and live. Hopefully someone will bug it, and probably has.
I do think that this update seems to have been rushed through BullRoarer, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try and help to make the game a better place for everyone.
Is the skirmish camp in Ost Galadh in new? It's likely I hadn't been in Mirkwood since Update 6, so it's possible it was added in an earlier update and I just didn't notice. Does anyone here who's recently been in Mirkwood know if the camp is new?
Follow the misadventures of Pineleaf Needles as she skirmishes throughout Middle Earth in Spear and Skirmish.
As someone mention a few pages back, the Champion Swift Strike skill is now taking the same time and displaying the same animation as Blade Wall. Did not notice anything about this in the notes, so would be great to hear if this is an intentional change. (I truly hope not, because it is currently neither swift nor a strike :-( )
...-what is a Hobbit? I suppose hobbits need some description nowadays, since they have become rare(unlike the numbers of people who have NEVER READ The Hobbit) and shy of the Big People, as they call us. They are (or were) a little people, about half our hright, and smaller than the bearded dwarves. Hobbits have no beards. There is little or no magic about them, except the ordinary everyday sort which helps them to disappear quietly and quickly when large stupid folk like you and me come blundering along, making a noise like elephants which they can hear a mile off. They are inclined to be fat in the stomach; they dress in bright colours(chiefly green and yellow); wear no shoes, because their feet goes natural leathery soles and thick warm brown hair like the stuff on their heads(which is curly); have long clever brown fingers, good-natured faces, and laugh deep fruity laughs(especially after dinner, which they have twice a day when they can get it). Now you know enough to go on with.

you sure are making quite a few assumptions in this post and you know what they say about that right.
I doubt any one is upset because their hobbit is fat, but because it looks like this
notice that the top and bottom halves of the body literally don't fit together and the arms are not proportioned to any part of the body
I can't be sure, but I doubt this is what Tolkien had in mind either
and yes I read the books, come to think of it I think I recognized you from one of them
New hidden meta-deed for completing all 18 skirmish encounter deeds! You get the title "Skirmisher of Middle Earth!"
AND you get an exclusive emote, ./bringiton. The text says "Radian is ready to rumble!" When you do the new emote, you shake your fists and crouch to get ready to fight.
P.S. I think it was hidden, although I don't know for sure. I just know that it completed when I completed the new skirm's encounter deed. Can anyone confirm it's hidden?

What? I haven't been to Moria actively for over a year, so I am confused here. Where exactly do you have to go then? The only way is what, where the goat route goes?
Many philosophical problems are caused by such things as the simple inability to shut up.

Agreed, but that is far from a subtle bug. Steps to reproduce:
1. Log onto a character.
2. Move.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say QA should be expected to catch that. I don't care about using /bug on the odd glitch, especially for new content. But really?
The simple act of moving on any of my characters makes me want to wince. IMO, this isn't a small bug, it's a showstopper; they should have delayed for a week to fix it, to me this update is not release quality yet.
For those who are (and those who are not) seeing the Hobbit 'issue', make sure you report (if you recall) what size your Hobbit is. It's possible it may only be impacting one specific set of options. Thus why some may not see any change at all.
Out of three of my hobbits on my main server, two have gained weight. Third one is fine for now. They should all be about the same build. Actually they could be triplets (I'm very picky when it comes to hobbit body types :P )
Also have the dressing room light issues, LM going invisible when casting Light of the Rising Dawn or Cracked Earth and the weapon bouncy issue.
(currently not able to enter Middle-Earth due to Pando Media "Booster" being slower than a dial-up connection)
I daresay someone else may have already commented on this somewhere in this long thread, but if not:
Pando media Booster is not a booster for the game, but a peer to peer file transfer program used to reduce the load on the Turbine download servers. In effect it turns your computer into a download server for Turbine.
After your initial download of LOTRO it should be removed from your computer, as it is of no benefit to you whatsoever and will slow down your system enormously.
Not sure if this has been mentioned or not. Not really sure if it's a bug or whatnot. However, I had some old Moria quests still in my log on my captain. They were listed as Moria Hidden Content and the title of the quests were Hidden Content - DNT - (normal quest title.) I had a o.O moment when I saw them. It was only 2 quests, and I cannot recall what they were right now.
The rooftop exploit was never intended. In fact it is very dangerous to your character. If you should fall off the roof top in the wrong place at the wrong time you will lose your character and it will not be recoverable by a GM, CS or anyone else.
So, every time we're victims of some geometry bug we risk destroying our characters?!
This is one of the most scaring things I read in 15 years of mmog career.
I hope you understand the major bug here is not the roof, but the existance of such unrecoverable situation.
The jump distance of horses seems to have been reduced. Cant access some of my fav pew pew perches in the moors. grrrrrr
The great river weapon nerf ! the dagger I paid a lot of gold for has gone back into the vault - not happy.
Going to miss the rooftops of Bree and that "secret" open area right in the middle. Is that even true that you could lose your toon? sounds like big-brother-esque nonsense lol.
p.s. You forgot to list the great tweaks we had on hunter. I noticed that every other class had some dev time, surely its an oversight?

Can you list the exact names of the quests? I've done all quests in Moria and would like to see if they changed the names (and headings) as well in my completed quest log.
Also, what does that "DNT" mean? I've seen it before in the combat log, I think, but I can't remember exactly when. I think it had to do with being hit with snowballs or maybe some of the festival consumables....
