The port to Thorin's hall was ruined, it now ports directly to the gates and not the stables, like it used to be (used to be the most useful port to low level locations, now that's probably be Bree)
That's true if you're looking for a main travel hub, but if you want to do a quick Auction House/Vault/Prospecting activity, then Thorin's Hall dropping you off at the entrance in stead of the stables is an improvement! As a travel hub, Bree is the better choice now, as an AH/Vault hub, Thorins's seems the best choice (for the levels before Moria).
Why there is no official statement or at least some reference on the Known-Issues for the "Dancing Weapons bug"?
Maybe not enough people filed a bug report? I don't have any display issues, but I got a friend who's char keeps disappearing (I had one NPC in stangard who's only visible body part were his hair) and my girlfriend sees the weapon glow delayed, behind the weapon.
About the port to Thorin's Hall AH ... I am not sure how many people without access to the 21st have their reputation with TH full. The 21st is easy to reach once one gets to 45.
Not sure if this is new or I just never noticed it before, but Helchgam in Carn Dûm has the semi-transparent shields circling him when he is invulnerable. (Note: The shields are a cosmetic indicator that several bosses in the game have that should when they can't be damaged or have some other sort of protection buff. It is not an actual shield circling Helchgam.)

Hmm, interesting - I don't remember him having a visible shield either....
This is related to a graphics setting. Crank everything to max if you can and see if it fixes it. I haven't narrowed it down yet (had to go to bed) but as I was playing with graphics settings I set everything to 'Default Graphics' and happened to check a cosmetic and I saw this.
When I went back to Optimal Graphics for my card it was back to normal. I'd venture a guess that it's something to do with the lighting settings in the Advanced Graphics tab. Try messing around with them.
You may have something here - I had the half-shadowed character/dressing-room thing going on too, but it mysteriously fixed itself this evening, and at some point this evening I had cranked my graphics way up for screenshots and then back down.
As someone mention a few pages back, the Champion Swift Strike skill is now taking the same time and displaying the same animation as Blade Wall. Did not notice anything about this in the notes, so would be great to hear if this is an intentional change. (I truly hope not, because it is currently neither swift nor a strike :-( )
Swift stirke only displays like blade wall when you trait "swift to anger". swift strike becomes swift blade with the trait and now it makes an 90 degrees attack with the same animation as blade wall. before the update the attack was aoe but it was only hitting foes in the strike line
Not quite. Swift Blade has always worked with a 90-degree frontal arc on 3 targets. What's changed is simply that the animation was swapped for blade-wall's. Blade wall is fine as-is with its current animation as it hits five targets, has a 180 degree arc and does a lot of damage, but the new, bugged, slow animation for Swift Blade makes the trait not at all worth slotting.
I've also heard that the skill is no longer receiving benefits from legacies and possibly other bonuses, but haven't done any testing as it'd be worthless in its broken state right now no matter what.
Orion, please take a look at this skill and assure us that it's bugged. While a fix ASAP would be fantastic, I'd at least like to know that someone at Turbine recognizes that isn't working properly.
Unsure if this was stated, but I made a new LM the other day, just got to lv 14 and saw this happen when I cast Cracked Earth. I tried it both with and without a pet out. http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/174...shot00015q.jpg
So are you telling us you are twice as lazy as others because you ignored everything written in this thread AND know issues list on top of that? Awesome.

"Graphics & EFX
The Shire Board of Health has taken special interest in the sudden spike in obesity rates among portions of the Hobbit population. As a result, some Hobbits were denied Elevensies in an effort to help them slim down and lead healthier lives."
My female hobbit (burg, haven't checked minnie) seems to have gained a LOT of weight in the hips and nether-regions. She eats a lot of pie, but since last night? Not that much.
Oh yeah, I am not happy about this, My hobbit girls look ridicules..who's idea was this, Fire him/her I say. Hobbits are small people, and come in many sizes, not fat as all get out, heck she doesn't even have breasts anymore she is so fat..I am not at all amused..fix this like yeserday and stop changing things for no reason at all..mann..stupidity rules the day it seems..
My female hobbit mini has undergone the same change.
The extra weight around the middle looks badly proportioned compared to the rest of her body, like someone stuck it on with sellotape, in the wrong place. And they've taken away all muscle/flesh she had down her arms, leaving skinny sticks in place of the fleshed out shoulders she had before.
Incredibly unhappy over this unannounced and awful change. Sincerely hope it doesn't stay like this.
No lie there, this is a case of studity above and beyond the call od duty..and just plain wrong..My 2 Hobbit girls look aweful now, the clothes don't even look good..what in the world were they thinking?..oh dumb question as obviously they weren't..
Someone should lose their job over this..
they fix this or I'll delete the characters..they were cute, now just fat and stupid looking
Heh the wards have quite nice bugs (atleast me) spear and javelin overlap on back while not in combat and the god damn (sorry for lang) weapon and shield bouncing round.

a totally moronic, and useless change
The only moronic thing withing 100 miles radius is your post, dude.

Maybe a small detail, but i noticed today, that when my character is digging a goldmine, the animation stops after half a second, with other metals it's normal.

Mistakes happen, it was not an intentional change. Your post alone contains at least two dozen so lay off the name calling and either provide constructive criticism or shut up.
I'm not entirely certain this is from u7, but I haven't encountered it before the update. The skirmish soldiers, who never were accused of being overly bright, now are even more stupid than before.
Running across the ENTIRE skirmish for no apparent reason other than me changing direction (e.g. turn left and you soldier takes off on adventur) - Check
Standing next to a group of mobs without doing anything to anyone - Check
Getting stuck in the middle of nowhere - Check
Getting permanently stuck in combat - Check
Running the other way when a mob is charging - Check
That's just a few of the skirmish soldier bugs I encountered yesterday. Had to summon him 10 times in total, and that wasn't because he died, he just got stuck in odd places.
That, I can say has been around for a while. My skirmish soldier did that from the first time I set foot in Mirkwood about a year ago. I still remember trying desperately to do an encounter and every time I initiated it, my skirmish soldier turned and ran, and kept running until he got far enough out my my range that he got unsummoned. (my hunter at that time was badly geared and not able to take on the encounter solo).
Added to the list of things not in patch notes:
- having severe lag on my warg in both highly populated areas and low populated areas and at all times (not on other characters). This is bad enough that I can't fight at all and have a lot of trouble questing in deserted areas of the map. So basically I can't play my warg
- after update 7 I've started having sudden crashes and disconnects. No other games or internet connected activities are interrupted when my game crashes, so it's not my internet. Before update 7 I'd have a game crash 1 time a week or such when not counting internet crashes. Now it's about 5+ times a day and always completly without warning. It can happen in the middle of a quest in a far away corner of the map or in the middle of Bree and anywhere in between.
- stealth. Stealth now takes the color of the background, which leads to very odd graphics if there's an object between your view of your character and the ground (anyone can try to put a warg in stealth on one of the bridges. I managed to get my warg all the way to the nearest bridge one of the day, which took me a long time. ) You'll get the color of the nearest ground in a direct line from the camera which means if you angle the camera towards green grass while stood on a bridge, your character will show as green.
Duskdancer, warg: If found please return to Gwairin, lvl 65 hunter in Evernight
Dawnsinger, warg: Currently working as police dog in Moors with the Angmar Inquisition

my lotro client has been crashing a lot more, too. from hardly ever (once a month?) to maybe every other day now.
I can confirm crashes on my side as well. Mostly right to the desktop without single error message. There's not even a single line about it in Windows Event Log, which doesn't help figuring out wth happened either
I'd contact support, but I don't think I have the guts for two+ weeks conversation and going through all those steps again.
