Thread: Great Open Field Fights Tonight!!

Just wanted to say congrats to all the creeps and freeps who participated in the open field fights tonight. Much refreshing from the usual TA/EC shuffle. I'm assuming Talidis rallied all the creeps and kept the fights coming (if I'm wrong props to you all anyway). Deaths on both sides but no NPC's to get in the way. Both sides wiped a few times yet the fights kept going. Have to say it was the most fun I've had in PvMP since coming to Imladris. How fitting it was on Mother's Day as Mom would be proud of us all!! Thanks for keeping it fresh!!

Yeah, it was fun I died a crazy number of times, but it's fine because I got a kill or two for every death, worth it

There were a couple small groups of 2 or 3, but we never really grouped up, except for at one point which was just when the Freeps left

Got a little over 10k infamy, so a pretty good day.

I did not count my incapacitations either, laugh, but it was worth it- in both fun, renowns and comms

Yay. I'm glad you guys had fun too. I liked playing peekaboo from behind rocks. ^ ^ And burrowing too late and getting blown up sometimes. :P But that part is everyday for me. I got quite a few kills as well.

Yeah, one thing I've learned from creeping for 5 yrs is to anticipate flops/burrows/disappears and get dots on just before. As a squishy hunter I get used to being blown up, lol. This was my first group lead since coming to Imladris and I think the toughest thing was keeping people bunched together and not letting them chase like freeps are so prone to do. I started the night as a small group of 3-4 and started moving around taking OP's and such. Then we tried Lugz and that was almost successful but failed. Grabbed LC and then tried to make a ninja for the relics at which time the other group took Lugz. Added a few more and proceeded to that fun standoff in TA until one of ours pulled some NPC's so we bailed. That's when the open fields really took off. Was a refreshing change to the usual shuffle. Great fun and I look forward to more!!
