Thread: Monster play skills and curruptions pay too much commendations

skills and corruptions pay too much is realy hard to earn commendations with rank 1 creep.
you are too weak kill freeps to earn commendations and earning commendations with making quests takes too much time.
New skill pays something like 1000-2000 commendations and corruption 1000-1500.
I think it would be good if new skills and corruptions could pay only 100-500 commendations.
Commendations have maded MP even more harder to play.Its not fun anymore when you must farm commendations many hours to get one skill or corruption.

I still don't have r7 Audacity on any of my toons because I was choiced with buying that, or necessary skills. Being forced to PVE in a PVP zone is no fun, especially with freeps coming by in groups and slaughtering you. And if you're not PVEing, it's even harder since you're not as useful in RvR as other folks,

IMHO - The old method of using Destiny Points was resulting in too few dollars being being given the Turbine Offerring Basket Guardian Cats (OFGC). Turbine decided that the previous forumulation for the Moors was not economically viable. Creeps were not buying from the Lotro Store. Free loading Creeps were not getting bored and frustrated, quitting reducing the operating costs of the service. Hence the change to Commendations and all the sinew work to support Commendations.

The Freep side is a massive grind if you do not want to give dollars to the OBGCs. It takes a lot of time to earn all the Turbine Points to unlock your trait slots, get the riding skill, open up the auction hall slots, lift the gold cap, enable bags 4 and 5, unlock crafting guild caps and buy the quest packs. It is doable. it a lot of time.

Turbine putting the same kind of system into play for Creeps:

1) Have plenty of time. Grind out the Commendations. Slowly buy the upgrades.
Note: Freeps Grind out Turbine Points. Slowly buy the upgrades.

2) Pay the OBGCs for the upgrades.
Freeps work the same way

3) Stop running up Turbine's operating costs by quitting the game.
Same behavior for Freeps.

The annoyance factor is that (it appears) the only viable route for Creep upgrades on a VIP account is to grow a level 75 Freep. Earn the commendations with your Freep. A starter Creep has a rough time of it. You are not getting much benefit out of your VIP status if you are playing as a Creep in Moors all the time.

does lotro know what they are doing. i cant get my archer to get strong. i have like no upgrades. if i wer you i would never bother playing monster play.
