Thread: Search results redirects back to a new search when clicked

Unsure how this happens.

I used the Search and selected Forums and clicked. The results showed threads as usual but when I click a thread title, I get redirected back to the search (or it performs a new search or something).

It is a bug in the search tool provided the author of the forum software. It is a very primitive PHP script. The more pages it has to search. The more hits. The less likely you will get any useful results. Plus there is a time restriction on the searches because the PHP script is very server intensive. There is no indexing of any other modern search support like what is provided via Bing, Google ...

My recommendation is to use a real search engine like Google. In the advanced options restrict the search to the forums, lorebook or whatever.
