Best of luck at university this year. Especially in your field, remember to keep your perspective fresh. Don't loose your sense of imagination or fantasy because it's no longer the status quo among your friends and colleagues.

I'm really really going to miss your raids Shane!! if i was having a bad night and you had a raid open, joining them would ALWAYS cheer me up. One of the only freep leaders whose raids i would join without question! I can understand your reasons but i wish you could keep your character and visit every once and a while :'( i was kina jealous seeing 3 of my friends already on the raid list Elween, Gaviloc, and Silverwolf. lol! but i guess i'll just goldtag it

Anyways always a pleasure fighting along side you with your epic dj to get us pumped lol.

Update to the Last Raid.

I must reschedule due to the fact that the trip to Regent is a two day journey. I must leave the Monday after the event in order to get settled in time.

Shane, sorry for the delayed forum reply, I contacted you ingame but I feel like I have to say goodbye to you officially

I remember I was lvl 64 and you were advertising in glff for shield-wall guard so I sent you a tell and you invited me, It was the first raid I joined and I was a newbie back then (been around 2.5 years), it was your roleplaying, kind of, style that made me love the moors, I leveled up to 65, grinded gear and started running out there enjoying the fun (staying out of drama too :P, yeah that's true till I got converted to the darkside ). To sum up, you are the reason I'm now roaming the land of the Ettenmoors and for that my axe will always remember your name, Respect \m/(-.-)\m/

You are a great, fun person, friendly with everybody, you stay out of drama (noone is perfect), and you' re a hell of a leader. You always make people in your raids have fun, consequence I want to believe of your aggressive style, which I believe is one of the main reasons people respect you.

Your departure was hard to believe and accept in the very begining, but after some consideration I believe you' re doing the right thing. You will be missed Shane, that's a fact, the moors will no longer be the same without the Shanehere running around wrecking havoc and bringing the fun.

I wish you best luck in your studies, I'm sure you will do great and I hope you will always keep in mind that there will be some people somewhere out there to remember the glorious days of First Marshal Shanehere, the Warlord.

Aww Shane! It’s sad to see you go, especially after all these years! You are an extremely nice guy and I have always enjoyed fighting with/against you. The Moors is losing a great leader and it will be a lesser place in your absence.

Although you are leaving, you are leaving for all the right reasons — your education and career must always come first.

I hope you have a blast at University, and I wish you all the best with your future endeavours.

I tried joining the goodbye pix group but for some reason people started ganking each other at Lug rez. And then even worse by Plains OP, where Halair, Buna, Movado and Bandiogan (did I miss anyone else?) started ganking wargs. Not that I expected VIP treatment or ganking "immunity" (it's a PVP area after all) at a sentimental moment like last night's, anyway.

Otherwise, a pleasure playing against you Shane, even though it wasn't often that I ran into your raids.

I logged in just in time to see everyone saying bye, and just as I went to send a message you logged off. It's been a real pleasure, Shane. You always made me feel included in everything, and always lead with such a carefree attitude. I knew I could count on you for no drama, and could count on you to maintain a fun atmosphere even when we wiped over and over. We're down a great leader, that's for sure. You will be severely missed.
