    Isengard Price?

Cost of Legendary Edition on Lotro web store. With the 50% off it says it's $24.99 at checkout, but is that including tax?

Just want to know because I have to go and get a pre-paid card to order it.. :/

Mine was $26.55 after tax, but I am in the same state as Turbine. I do not know if other states will have to pay tax on it or not.

Nope, that price doesn't include taxes. Mine ended up being $24.99 due to me being in Guatemala, so they don't tax me for things like this.

Depends where on the west coast. At one time, Turbine had an office in California. They closed that office. Who knows they may have a few people there again.

So there is tax on it, good to know since I too was going to get a card to pay for it, it will now take too long to transfer into my PayPal. They do take Visa/MC/American Express gift cards? Not those Green Dot ones, I mean ones like this:

    https://www.vanillavisa.com/product.html
    https://www.vanillamastercard.com/languages.html
    https://www.americanexpress.com/gift-cards/

I ask because once I had one of those Vanilla cards and bought a DD for another program, soon after I had the money refunded to me. Confused I asked the card company and was told the company never asked for the money within 7 days, apparently after that the card company canceled to payment. But when I asked the place I bought from, they said they received payment. I may get American Express because of that.

Tax was charged when I got to the final confirmation the first time I had my cart all set up. But I decided to remove the Heroic Edition, and see how much the total with tax the Basic would be. To my suprise, when I got to confirmation there was no tax. I again cleared my cart and added the Heroic I wanted, and again at the final confirmation there was no tax charged. Not sure why, I like in WA US which has sales tax. But I saved myself $1.62 by clearing my cart after entering payment info, refilling cart, and clicking through to confirmation.

This worked. However, I logged into where the email link told me to, on this page I get told to login to myaccount.turbine.com and enter an Unlock Code into my account from the order page .....

But I don't see any Unlock Code. Is it hidden?

EDIT - Found it, it is hidden on the page.

It is possible that this is dependent upon State, but in California there should not be sales tax charged on software which is downloaded only. In other words, if you do not receive a physical box or product, sales tax is not applicable in California. However... Most companies will charge sales tax regardless, because its on them if they fail to pay and they don't want the liability. Not sure how Turbine plays this, but having nexus in California (i.e. an office or other physical presence) does not play into the taxability of downloaded software.
