Thread: Ranged gambit

Hi, mine's just reached 39. She has some new spear gambits. The pictures have little blue spears in the bottom left of the icon. When I attempt to execute, the actual gambit is locked and it really messes up my attack. Does anyone know what this is all about?

Which gambit, and are you in Assailment stance?

My Wardens 68 but Im just returning so Im still learning all the changes myself, but it kinda sounds like you might be trying to execute a the gambit in the wrong stance.

I see a few possibilities here. You are not in Assailment stance, you did not buy the ranged version(s) of the gambit(s) you are trying to use, or you built a gambit that still requires melee range even though you're in Assailment stance.

Or you're in Assailment and built a gambit that requires ranged distance, but you're in melee instead.

What has happened is you received the Potency affect, it has a 25% chance to apply when certian gambits are excuted, once you have it you have a locked gambit! If you are out of combat more than 9 seconds it expires. If you would like further info on it read up about it on Wiki.
